My sister and I had an excellent breakfast there this morning and we plan to return tonight for some scrumptious cake! I recommend the Chattanooga Omelette.

Three of us had a late breakfast at the City Cafe. The service was excellent, coffee was very good, and their breakfasts were more than filling, We a Hobo breakfast, a veggie omelet, and the Farmer's omelet. The breakfasts came with home fries or grits, biscuit or toast. We also got sides of sausage. Each of these breakfasts were large... More

When the owners are from New York and Greek to boot, you know it is going to be good. Walking in and seeing the revolving cake displays with cakes the size of bison heads, I knew I was back home even though I was physically in downtown 'Noog. It was breakfast time, and I went for the classic two over... More

This diner is 50's looking on the inside. The menu is extensive...too extensive. We ate about 8PM on a weekday. Chicken Balsamic ($16.95). This was a huge serving. Three pieces of chicken breast about 6-7" served over a mountain of Linguini. While the Balsamic sauce was good, the Linguini was way overcooked and almost impossible to twirl onto my fork... More

This is a throwback diner, open 24 hours a day. I wanted a big breakfast before a busy day. Was AMAZED at the amount of food. 5 pieces of bacon and 3 thick, big pieces of sausage, home fries piled high!!! Server was quick, polite and pleasant. Would eat here again any time for a quick, value added meal.

We had breakfast here while staying overnight in Chattanooga. The cafe itself is very unique..50's decor, and music. Out server was very pleasant and the food was quite good, with very ample portions and reasonable prices. We did not have any of the cake, but they all looked delicious. We would definitely visit again if traveling through Chattanooga. And it... More

The line was so long we ordered to go one breakfast meal. Took twice the quote time. I asked two sets of people to check on our food and they told me "it was on its way" without checking. Food was ordinary.
