We loved this cafe! We were trVeling from Texas to Pigeon Forge Tenn) We stayed at the Best western next door and stopped in for breakfast (saved 10% on our bill)!! It was incredible service and the food was delicious! The cakes and pies in the freezer looked so yummy!! We skipped on the calories. The prices were reasonable and... More

My husband & I come here A LOT ! The food is sooo good and unbeatable prices. Huge amounts of food for small prices. !! The dessert is even better ! You will be in hog heaven ! The Reese cup cake is my favorite !!! It's in with a hotel downtown but parking it usually no problem !!

Visiting town for an event, we were a party of 9 including my blind Grandmother and death mother. They've lived in NY/NJ their entire lives and don't understand that not everyone drinks whole milk and eat white bread. The waitress was amazing! Took everyone's (special) order from memory. It was quick and she remembered everything! Plus she was very polite... More

The food is really good. We all had a different menu selection and were pleased. The portion sizes are quite large. We were a party of eight. The food was out on time, correct, and hot. The desserts are fantastic! We will dine again!

My husband and I were staying in the area over the weekend and realized at 11:00 PM that we were hungry. We looked up a restaurant that was open and were led to this place. The food was very good! The menu is overwhelming at first as they have pages and pages of selections but after we narrowed our choices... More

I stopped at City Cafe Diner at the Day's Inn Rivergate for breakfast on a Thursday morning at 5:10. There were only 5 other patrons in the store as well as one waitress and a manager on the floor. The kind waitress provided coffee and juice as requested. I then waited 35 minutes for my eggs (scrambled) and bacon to... More

Best breakfast in town! Great food, service and atmosphere! Heart portions and moderately priced! Wait staff was very attentive and personable. The pancakes are great! The cannol's are the best I've had since leaving Jersey!!!!!!

We've enjoyed City Café for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert (literally--3 of us split one piece of cake!). You'll be mightily tempted by the fresh array of baked goods (not to mention an awesome fruit bowl) in the display cases as you're seated. Reliably good service, an easy 'split the plate' breakfast for two makes pricing on par with fast... More

Food was outstanding! Our waiter was outstanding! Just be forewarned that the portions are very large. We stopped on our way home to Michigan and had no room to bring the leftovers with us!

My sister and I had an excellent breakfast there this morning and we plan to return tonight for some scrumptious cake! I recommend the Chattanooga Omelette.
