A small and rather smoky bar that's reminiscent of an English pub (of the town rather than country variety, when smoking was still allowed) and indeed the door is painted with a union jack. Our visit was very brief and we probably didn't do it justice but the beer range (around 12 taps and perhaps 60 bottles) wasn't very interesting... More

We stayed in Chattanooga one night and visited this pub. It was really cool! If you're looking to grab a table and hang out this is the place for you. It was smokey but a neat local place I would suggest to visitors!

A group of three of came in here not knowing what to expect. We left pleasantly surprised! We sat downstairs and had a waiter that knew a ton about beer. He had great recommendations! Food was amazing as well. All three of us enjoyed our food (I had a weekly special of lamb and pasta which was phenomenal). Only reason... More

The food was great and the server was very helpful. He suggested several different beers for us to try, offering samples on some. Very cool little place with a nice atmosphere!

This was our first meal/drink stop in Chattanooga. Overall not the biggest fan of bar food, but the beer selection and beer soup were an excellent combo. Good place to unwind after a long drive up to Chattanooga.

Stopped in Sunday night for dinner and drinks with friends. Quiet atmosphere but still a lively bar. Food was good, beer was good, and staff was friendly. Ask about their ceiling fans if you stop in!

We visit Hair of the Dog each time we visit Tn. We have purchased their T-shirts and wear them all the time. We have tried several items on the menu & each one is superb. Just love this place.

Reasonably priced pub food. Reasonably priced local brews. Good outdoor seating. Kind of a dive but in a good way

Hair of the Dog Pub is a great place to have a few drinks. Fully stocked bar and lots of draft choices. At least three levels of fun, music and games. Besides they even have an outdoor patio. Nice on a cool night.

I have been here several times over the years and have always had a good time. I did not eat here this time, so my rating is just based on the bar. However, the food I saw looked pretty good and had a good smell. They have a decent tap list and a good bottle list. They can also mix... More
