Ask the owner what to eat!

This place isn't much to look at. The chairs don't match. The ceiling is low and the entire restaurant is showing its age. What it lacks in charm and decor, it makes up for in the quality of its offerings. We have yet to have anything that we didn't like but on this occasion we found ourselves... read more

The sandwiches are delicious! I always get the one with the melted pimento cheese. They are kind of pricy though and do not include anything other than just a sandwich. I told the owner I'd like a recommendation for small children and he made something quite spicy. Not a big deal but I had hoped they'd eat their almost $9... More

4/10/2015 We took our older grandkids for a trip to Chattanooga and had been told that this was the best deli in town. Great grill cheese, black bean soup and the roasted pork sandwich was very good. We all ate for under $30, very reasonably price. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Yep we will be back the next... More

Great sandwiches in neat little area. Fresh ingredients and excellent selection. Had turkey with Brie and honey mustard. Really good-spicy honey mustard. Philly Reuben was great as well!

I've been eating lunch here since 2000. It's a genuine New York Deli with genuine New York service. I have never had a bad sandwich here. The owner will always tell you what's good and he's never been wrong. Love this place!

My boyfriend and I are new to area, and he mentioned his coworkers attend here weekly for lunch. We stopped by this past weekend for lunch and it is claimed to be a New York City deli. We walked in and the décor was ok. We ordered out sandwiches and grabbed a table outside. My boyfriend ordered the chipotle chicken... More

The menu was kind of confusing. The food took a little while to come out, and honestly, it was just okay. It's a little overpriced for what you're getting.

The menu is small but changes from time to time. The food tastes pretty good too. But the couple of times I have eaten there, I always end up thinking it could have been so much better. The sandwiches are good, but never thoroughly warm. The grilled sandwiches are toasted and crispy on the outside, warm around the edges, and... More

My daughter and I ate here on a Saturday. The service and food was great. I had the sandwich special and my daughter got the soup. We both enjoyed our meals and the character of the place is fun. I would recommend this place for a local joint to eat. Better than any chain place around.

After hearing the specials of the day from the man behind the counter, I had to try the prosciutto and fig sandwich and tomato artichoke soup. Both were superb! The restaurant looks like your average deli, but they know flavors there and what I ate was gourmet. Quick service, friendly staff.
