Consistently excellent

Atmosphere is romantic, service top shelf and the food is always amazing. I typically order the salmon appetizer with a vodka martini. The martini is a value because you get a full sidecar with every purchase. Favorites are Cypress salad, filet, ribeye, and rotisserie chicken.

We loved the food and service. I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants and while this isn't a large chain, they still have over 30? locations. Putting that aside, this particular restaurant makes you feel like you are getting all the attention that a single owner restaurant would put forth. The food was excellent and the service was perfect.... More

My wife and I had arrived at our hotel in Chattanooga and hadn't realized it was prom night. Even though it was extremely busy, the staff worked hard to keep our wait to a minimum and service was prompt. Excellent food.

Pricey and elegant but food is okay. The prime rib was decent and my husband had a hamburger and fries and loved it. It was worth trying out.

The food was ok but I'm not convinced it was worth the price. It wouldn't be easy to eat here if you are on any kind of a diet. Lots of sweet sauces anf fried foods. I had filet kabobs served on a bed of rice with grilled vegetables. Veggies were squash, red and green peppers, and onions. They were... More

Went to the bar for a quick drink and ordered take out. The bartender was quick and friendly. The order of shrimp tacos and carrot cake came out timely and the bartender actually double checked the order before telling me it was ready.

We had good meals since we moved here but J Alexanders nailed every meal we ordered. You have to try the Gilled Artichoke Appetizer! We had the prime rib, the Maui Ribeye and the Carolina Crab cakes. The prime rib was perfectly cooked. I hate to over use the word but it the right one. Sometimes when you order Prime... More

NIcely arranged tables and warm, friendly atmosphere. Food is great and prices reasonable. It is well thought of in an area that is full of restaurants.

We were traveling through on our way home. From outside, the restaurant looked inviting. TA's rating intrigued us to find out the rave. I'm glad we did... For starters, we had the Fire Roasted Artichokes. I've never seen or had artichokes like this. I'll spare the "spoiler", but you have got to try it. It was absolutely delicious! We both... More

My wife and I had just arrived in Chattanooga around 8 p.m. on a Friday evening. This restaurant was conveniently located just a few blocks from our hotel. From the outside, the facility looked inviting, so I checked them out on my tripadvisor mobile app. The high rating convinced us this was a place to try. I was able to... More
