St. John's is a simple atmosphere and a high price menu. Your food your drinks and your company provides the flavor. Choose wisely and you'll have a great experience.

The food was very good and different from other restaurants in the south, which pleased us as transplants here. As good as the food was, the service didn't match. We've gone a few times and its the same each time. I would like to think that it's going to change soon.

St John's is one of those destinations people should drive to Chattanooga to visit! Now genuinely a landmark, St John's (and The Meeting Place next door) have more than a decade of marvelously impressing locals and tourists alike--including some of the biggest names to come to town... Plan to make an evening of simply enjoying the ambiance, service, food and... More

The food is great, atmosphere not as great but really nice place. A little pricey for all-the-time-dining but great place for a nice dinner.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. We were given a nice quiet table upstairs overlooking the restaurant. We ordered the Warm Beet Salad and the Scallops appetizer to start and both were delicious! We then had the Duck Confit and the Venison - both were excellent! Finishing off we shared the Bread Pudding, also very yummy! The... More

We heard that St. John's was an excellent restaurant and it certainly was. We had drinks at the bar first. They make great Martini's especially mine which was chocolate. I asked the bartender if she could make one as I did not see it listed. A lot of the time they say yes and it is just fair. This was... More

We ate at the meeting place next door, which is the more casual dining. It's rare when you find a place that the drinks are good, the food is great and the desert was excellent. Usually there is a part of the meal that is a compromise, but it just kept getting better! Definitely try the carrot cake soufflé! The... More

From the wonderful old renovated bank building to the particular care in the preparation and presentation of a fantastic meal….St John's was an outstanding ding experience. We had a "reunion" table of sorts. 8 of us happily catching up and telling old stories while having cocktails and some wine. All the while our server was available, helpful and timely in... More
