No big deal -- it was prom season, so I wasn't put out as I expected it to be busy on a Saturday night! Our server was extremely knowledgeable as to the content of the... More

Perfectly cooked and presented food with nice wine. Informal and polite staff that appreciate not everyone likes American bulk food over fine food. A short and sweet appraisal from a satisfied customer.

Soooo love this place. Classy and great good with an awesome atmosphere. St John's "Meeting Place" is just as awesome. Relaxed, awesome food, cool crowd, eclectic but local food choices, great drinks and super service. Great place for a date as well. I brought a friend here and they now go here more than I do. In a AWESOME section... More

This is part of the St. Johns Restaurant. It's the great bar upstairs...great atmosphere with couches and tables. Low-lit lighting and music...perfect for talking but not too quiet that it you can hear the others conversation. A tv or so and a bar area. The wine was great and at a reasonable price. The bar menu was pretty good although... More

St John's exceeded all our expectations. The service achieved the balance between knowledgable and attentive, whole still being casual. Our server knew the nuances of the menu including the location of origin for many obscure menu items. Our group ordered the trout, the chicken, and the duck as entrees--all were superb. The lettuce salad was large, a good size for... More

St. Johns is an enigma....it's located in a nondescript building away from most everything. The food is excellent. The beef tartare is excellent, very flavorful and tender. They brought some type of bread to the table served in a small cast-iron skillet...I have no idea what it was called..some kind of corn bread, but niot your typical southern corn bread.... More
