We gave this restaurant a try today and here is what we think. The atmosphere: Very nice cabin feel that makes the restaurant very cozy and warm. Clean although the entrance to the kitchen doesn't have a door and it showed some clutter stacked up on top of each other that needs to be tidied up or place a door... More

Perfect lunch for a chilly day! My mom and Aunt Betty came for lunch and had a great meal. We all had pulled pork sandwiches with sale and shared the LAST Brunswick stew. Everything was tasty--perfect comfort cue! Service is friendly and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Y'all come on out try it!

Food is tasty and reasonably priced but not the sort up to its ratings. Service is very friendly and quick. Restaurant is very small with only a few tables in a non descript strip mall. Good neighborhood place but don't go for the atmosphere. Very "unfancy".

ok but not what you expected. Pork did not have a good smoke taste to it and portions were small. Service was good.

Delicious barbecue! The pulled chicken was so tender and delicious! Both my husband and I agreed, it was the best BBQ chicken sandwich we had ever had. The service was a bit lack luster but the food was so good I gave it 5 stars overall. Lastly, very small sitting area ( 5 or 6 tables). We didn't have to... More

Decided to try this place due to all the rave reviews. We were lucky enough to get a table inside for it is Very Small. Just a handful of tables literally. Was greeted quickly and the food was on the table in a timely manor. The ribs were delicious but would be hard to say that they were the best... More

Found out about this restaurant on trip advisor and it happened to be less than 10 minutes from our hotel. We went for a late lunch and the food and service were fantastic. Fried pickles were the best I've had at a restaurant and the chopped pork was amazing!

This is a small place. Waiter definitely had to keep his routine in a specific order. Barbeque and fixin's were good. Sauce was a little tangy and came ladled on top of the chopped barbeque. I would rather have the sauce on the side.

Ribs were very good. BBQ pork- very good. Onion rings -very good. The sauce is sweet, and I prefer either a mustard-based sauce or sauce like what is served at Dreamland or Jim n Nicks. With that said, the food was still smoky and very, very tasty. I would eat here again for sure.

I'm halfway through a road trip and ran out of energy and got hungry as I parked exactly between friendly - looking Mexican and BBQ restaurants. I'll have to rate the Mexican the next time I'm through Chattanooga, but I really made the right choice at the Hickory Pit tonight (it had more cars out front). They've got a very... More
