Bea's is a little gem. Good Southern cooking. Fried chicken is excellent. Nothing fancy. A lot of working class people eat there. For example, when I was last for lunch, a group of workers was sitting next to us, and one of the guys let out a thundering f**t. Everyone just laughed at the table. It's that kind of place. more

My husband and I recently took a road trip through Tennessee. I found Bea's on Trip Advisor and thought we'd check it out. Food is service family-style with a big lazy susan in the middle of the table. The food was okay...it was "home-cooking"....but sort of a nursing home version.
