Was driving through researched the area for homestyle cooking and this came up as the best. Greeted promptly by owner seated and food being put on table as we sat down. Food great. Will return.

This food is terrible. It is bland and extremely overpriced. It is $15.00 for adults and you get fried chicken, fried catfish, beans, new potatoes, mac and cheese, rolls and cornbread. It is all canned prepackaged food and you are paying the price of fresh organic. It's just gross and you have to buy your drinks out of a can... More

Great local restaurant visited by the people who live in Chattanooga and not the tourists. The food is excellent and they just keep it coming. The tables are built on a lazy susan model and you turn the middle section to get to what ever it is you want. The day we went there were beef ribs, pulled pork and... More

I have always loved eating here! Been going to Bea's my whole life and never walked away hungry. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. Best chicken anywhere! Great service!

Bea's has been around forever. I remember going there as a youngster. The only thing that has changed in the past 50 years is the price of a meal. Bea's tables are round and will sit something like 8 people. Therefore, do not be surprised if you are seated with strangers. Each table has a large lazy Susan. Large bowls... More

The service was great and I had some good food and some not so good food. There's tea and water at the table and they have a drink machine if you'd rather buy a coke. Some of the things that people bragged about were the chicken and the peach cobbler. I agree that the chicken is good but the cobbler... More

I visited this place frequently when I was growing up and decided to do a return visit. Nothing has changed and it is just as I remembered it! Lazy Susan's in the middle of each table with the best fried chicken ever, pinto beans, greens, rolls, barbecue pulled pork, cole slaw, potatoe salad, peach cobbler and banana pudding. Sweet tea... We cannot visit family in Chattanooga without making a visit to Bea's Restaurant. The food is good the service is great and the atmosphere is the same as it had been since I was a kid. We love the Fried Chicken and new Hot wings. It is just plain ole southern home style cooking done in a way that is... More

The first time we went to Beas was in the 1950's when the price was $1.00 per person. At that time, to the best of my knowledge, it was the only restaurant of that type in the Chattanooga area. I don't think it has changed much at all. One thing I do remember was in the 1950's there were signs... More

Went to Bea's because of the reviews and we were not impressed. Yes, there is plenty of food, it keeps coming as you empty each bowl (the service was great). Sweat tea and water are in pitchers on the lazy susan, both are warm, so the small bucket of ice needed to be filled twice. Unsweet tea was also available... More
