Old fashioned restaurant with lazy susan!

This restaurant has good food, especially the fried chicken. It has an unusual lazy susan in middle of table with food on it. The table seats 10 people at a time. I prefer a group of friends or family at table, since you have to turn lazy susan to get to food and it gets a little ackward with... read more

This is the oldest restaurant in Chattanooga and for good reason! (It is the best) If you like country cookin' this is your place! The fried chicken, chow chow, corn bread and fixins are the best! They have great sweet tea and service! I have been going here for 48 years. The Bradshaw family are like family to Chattanooga!

My wife and I had heard about this place for many years, and finally tried it. It's a little bit hard to find but well worth the hunt. You are seated with others unless you have six or eight people with you. The bowls never run out because the waitress keeps them full. The food was very good and the... More

Now let me preface this, Bea's is not fine dining it is southern comfort food. The place has been around for over 50 years, probably way longer than that. The food is served family style and it's all you can eat. However, this is real southern cooking. My Granny lived in Chattanooga all her life and she was an amazing... More

The food is delicious and you get more than enough. The food is served on a lazy susan so you spin the food around and get all you want and they continue refilling the food as long as you need it. If you do not have a large party going with you- you will share the table and food with... More

We love the experience of Bea's, from going inside and being directed to a large table and sit down with other folks you don't know, and spin that lazy susan around and eat yourself into a coma! Great fried chicken, love the peach cobbler! The price is right, the place is right (not going to blow you away, but it... More

We decided to give this a try based on mostly positive reviews. This is located in a not so nice part of town, but it was clean on the outside, no garbage or anything so it was promising. We were seated right away. This was our first time at a family style lazy susan type meal. It was very interesting.... More

I have been going to Bea's for over 20 years but the last three times I went, the service left much to be desired. The food is great and it is all put on the table so you don't really need much service. When we went today, we received our food promptly but the server failed to bring refills on... More

A friend had recommend this restaurant and on Wednesday, March 11 I had the opportunity to try it out. My wife, daughter, and grandson had lunch at Bea's. There was fried chicken, breasts and spicy wings, pork bar b que, and an array of vegetable. It was a buffet that is served lazy Susan style. Everything was really good and... More

Suggested by a friend, and it was all he said it was. The southern (country) food was very good and I loved the self serve lazy-Susan. We enjoyed the dinner conversation with our table mates. What a cool find in Chattanooga. I'll certainly be returning when I'm next in town.
