I cannot think of one place in the whole world worse than this place. Total garbage. The seating style is so annoying. I'd rather get a root canal twice with no drugs than be forced to eat here a second time. more

Whenever we travel south, we always stop at Bea's. Our first visit there was 23 years ago, and we have been there several times since. We were there on a Sunday morning, before the church crowd, and did not have to wait for a table. The tables at Bea's have a large lazy susan in the middle, where they put... more

Bea's is a little gem. Good Southern cooking. Fried chicken is excellent. Nothing fancy. A lot of working class people eat there. For example, when I was last for lunch, a group of workers was sitting next to us, and one of the guys let out a thundering f**t. Everyone just laughed at the table. It's that kind of place. more

My husband and I recently took a road trip through Tennessee. I found Bea's on Trip Advisor and thought we'd check it out. Food is service family-style with a big lazy susan in the middle of the table. The food was okay...it was "home-cooking"....but sort of a nursing home version. The sweet tea was delicious though. more

Went to Bea's in the 80's loved it then. I recently got the chance to return. I read some of the other reviews and would like to respond to the comments about sitting next to someone handling your food. I was glad to sit next to some gentlemen and share a meal and conversation. I could also see the food... more

This is one of those places that you always hear people saying, "If you leave hear and you're not full, it's your own fault!" We rolled up to Bea's on Saturday with 23 motorcycles and 40 people. There was not one person that left from there that wasn't hurting from eating so much. The lazy suzan tables are great! The... more

I have been eating at Bea's since I can remember.....(for at least 40 years)...and it's the same now as it was when I was a little girl. The fried chicken and the BBQ are out of this world!!! I can remember thinking when I was little that I wished that we were rich so that our table would spin too!... more
