We were in the area on a whim night away and chose this restaurant. We enjoyed it greatly! Our server was awesome, and it seemed like there were a lot of locals whom the staff recognized, which to me says it is a good place. The only drawback we found, was that the pizza buffet was toward the back of... More

I didn't enjoy my visit to Provino's very much. The garlic rolls that people rave about came covered in bits of green garlic, which had an unpleasant astringency and literally swimming in a bowl of butter. Not what I was expecting. The salad was fine, but my entree, their special spaghetti with all the trimmings was dull and flavorless, with... More

I've been eating at Provino's since the 1980s and it has always been my favorite Italian restaurant. I've had nearly everything on the menu, and it's all good. Some of it is standard (think fettuccine alfredo) and about as tasty as the same dish elsewhere, but they have other dishes I've never seen anywhere else and they're delicious! My favorite... More

We arrived on a Sunday evening. When we entered I loved the atmosphere. I thought it was romantic, while my husband said it reminded him of a restaurant on the titanic but yes much smaller lol. We had a 10 minute wait. The staff were decently friendly. When our garlic rolls and salad were served I was stunned that the... More

I love Provinos--especially this one, for it was the first I tried. Ooh...the Eggplant Parmagiana (once called Eggplant Napolitano) is simply to die for! It is baked en croute, with ricotta, marinara and mozerella. Oh. My. Goodness. I eat eggplant Parmagiana frequently, but nowhere does it better than Provinos. Then, there is the house salad with the oodles of freshly... More

The bday person eats free if you go ON your bday! People rave on about the garlic butter rolls, and they are great... But the salad they bring is my absolute favorite! Very different from the house salad anywhere! The Eggplant Parmesan is incredible. My friend always gets the Tour of Italy and another the Eggplant Vegetale and they love... More

The server brings salad and bread for the table so we didn't request it so we thought it was included. . That would be INCORRECT! We had 2 couples and each couple was charged $6.50 for salad! How can you be charged for something you didn't order? Since they brought one salad and each check was charged 6.50 does that... More

We were seated quickly and the food was delivered to the table in a timely manner. The garlic rolls were very tasty and a hit with our family. The food was good. The waitress was very friendly and anticipated our needs...our glasses were never empty. She also took the time to write a list of places to visit for our... More

Recently dined here while celebrating a family member's birthday. (you get to eat free on your birthday). There was a little wait, but overall, not that bad since it is a popular spot in Chattanooga. Staff was very attentive and helped with our little celebration. The food was very good. The garlic rolls are very addictive, salad was more than... More
