WHERE DO I BEGIN???? one of the most horrible experiences ever in restaurant dining. went there on valentines day dinner. price fixe menu. but never made it past the water and stale bread. reservations at 800pm; did not get seated until 815pm. waited until 845pm for water and bread basket taken from another table with obvious hair on the basket.... This restraint is within the Chattanoogan Hotel. We had great experiences with both the breakfast and dinner services. For Breakfast: Excellent made-to-order omelettes, terrific buffet of fresh biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage, bacon, soft scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal with choice of brown sugar - raisins - pecans, muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones, fresh jams, fresh fruit, and more. Table service with... More

I have eaten here for supper and brunch. Both are good. There is a vaiety of menu choices for dinner. The Sunday brunch is plentiful and diverse. I enjoyed the chicken and waffles. I would eat here again.

Excellent food in the restaurant associated with the Chattanoogan Hotel--we loved our food--wine was disappointing but excellent food. The service was adequate but not great. However all the food we had was super good---fish and steak and onion soup as well as dessert.

We had a wonderful dinner here on New Year's Eve. Everything was elegant, delicious and beautifully presented (even the bread, tea and especially the butternut bisque with lobster.) One of the best steaks I have ever had. The breakfast buffet was good but not as outstanding as dinner.

I ate here both for breakfast and lunch and it was just ok for me. The breakfast buffet had a good selection but was fairly pricey for the quality. We also ate here with a group for the lunch buffet. While it did have some interesting selections, overall the quality was not what I would have expected for the price.... More

local, often gluten-free, tasty. The restaurant is well-respected by locals and I have dined there when not staying at the hotel. I have been there when it was 5 star, but this time the lunch buffet was just 4.
