Good Food - Silly Menu

Once you get past the pretentious and silly menu, with all the references to "gluten-free" meat, etc., the food is quite good. The portions are not over-sized, which is a good thing, and the presentation is handsome. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful.

We ate here one evening while we stayed at the hotel. The food was good, but was overshadowed by the LOUD rock music being played in the bar that blasted through the restaurant. At one point, the manager came over to ask us how everything was, and the music was so loud that she had to practically yell. Funny, but... More

One of the best brunches in the area bar none. Wonderful selection of food to choose from, salads, cheeses, pastries. Carving station as well as made to order omelets and a breakfast and lunch buffett. Desserts galore. Did I mention mimosas and poinsettias are included in buffett price?!!! Bloody Mary's are 2.50. Service is usually Very good although sometimes slow... More

I arrived shortly after they opened for dinner. I was by myself. My waiter (Greg) was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. He checked on me every 10 min. I had the NY Strip. Amazing! I highly recommend this place. Absolutely delicious. I'll eat here again when I come back.

We were staying at the hotel and tried this restaurant. I wish we had not. Our waiter was not good nor was the food. When we told him we were going to order off the menu he said we should really check out the buffet. We did and all I can say is" Yuck". I have never seen oatmeal that... More

What could you hate about a brunch buffet and unlimited mimosas!! For everything to be on a buffet you could tell it was still of good quality. Our waiter was awesome about keeping the drinks full. Place was pretty crowded at 1 on Sunday but we only had to wait a few minutes for our seats.

The dining room is large and spacious, looks appealing. On the night we ate at the Grille there we about 8 total table with 2 to 4 people. Appeared to be four servers, thus service was good. Based on our meals (the Prime Rib), there are many better dining options in the Scenic City for this price range. The Quail... More

WHERE DO I BEGIN???? one of the most horrible experiences ever in restaurant dining. went there on valentines day dinner. price fixe menu. but never made it past the water and stale bread. reservations at 800pm; did not get seated until 815pm. waited until 845pm for water and bread basket taken from another table with obvious hair on the basket.... This restraint is within the Chattanoogan Hotel. We had great experiences with both the breakfast and dinner services. For Breakfast: Excellent made-to-order omelettes, terrific buffet of fresh biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage, bacon, soft scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal with choice of brown sugar - raisins - pecans, muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones, fresh jams, fresh fruit, and more. Table service with... More
