A very busy, but very nice restaurant. I enjoyed their unique selection of food, and was very happy with my dish. Would definitely go there again

Dined here in April returning from Florida; stopped again going back south. We both ordered burgers; hers was a traditional cheeseburger with fries and slaw; mine, a double something topped with chopped dill pickles and a side of mac & cheese. Both were satisfying, yet a bit pricey. Golden Amber was a great choice to wash it all down. Service... More

Shrimp and grits and the Perfect Patron Margarita...delicious! The chocolate ecstasy was just that. Yummy! I will definitely eat here again.

Order the beer sampler! It was great to taste all the beers they make! Nachos were pretty good too. Very busy and noisy atmosphere.

Great for families with teens and small children. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and attentive, service was fast for a weekend day.

We have visited each time we are in Chattanooga as the location is so convenient & menu so varied. The food has been a little more lackluster each visit though. It's not horrible but certainly not great. Our service was good and that and the location might be enough to get us back if we were in area.

This was our 2nd choice for dinner. Our first was a 45 min wait. We ended up here even though it was a 30 min wait. It was close to the Tivoli theater and we had found parking so wait was not a problem. The food was excellent. Our waitress was so good. When we asked about place for dessert... More

I've dined at Big River many times. (Tourist-friends visiting always want to meet here.) The food is very average -- nothing special. Very subpar / warehouse club tasting appetizers. I'd recommend one of Chattanooga's other restaurants, as we have some great ones.

My husband always looks for local brew pubs. Located close to our hotel, aquarium and movies. We loved the Habanero Shrimp and Spicy Tomato soup. My husband like the sampler so he could check out all the beer selections. Nice price $6.00. Hillary was such a great server. The host and her sure made us feel welcome. She was busy... More

We called in for an evening meal, very friendly staff, the food was good also. A busy bar and restaurant which is a good sign.
