Description: Niko's Southside Grill opened in may 2007 at the corner of 14th and Cowart street in Chattanooga'a southside area. Niko's is an entirely new concept that blends the "Flavors of the South with Tastes of the Mediterranean." Niko's offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere with a full bar and a great wine list.Local farming and sustainable seafood have been the basic tenet of Greek cuisine for years; we continue this tradition by bringing honest, straightforward ingredients to your table with the same passion and soul as generations before us. In April 2010, Niko’s was featured in Southern Living magazine number one as "One of the Top Five things to do in Chattanooga."

Went and tried to have a romantic dinner with my partner and it was all but such. They did not have anything on the menu because they are apparently closing in a few days and are getting rid of what is left. The waitress had no problem telling is this. Please do NOT take anyone there if you are looking... More

I've dined here many times and each time I say the same....so so. I so so want this to be the old Southside Grill, but they just can't do it. Food is just ok, service is ok, but this place should really be more. On the plus side, the bar is a cool area, but that's all I can say... More

We had a good night here. They served great options from the latest in drink fads, and knew their stuff when asked for specifics on the booze. Opening the eating was grilled feta with honey and thyme... super-delish. The fish was perfectly cooked but the veggies were rather average. No matter. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and we were served... More

It’s a nice restaurant but that’s about it. Our server was not the least bit interested in our satisfaction with our lunch and the meal was not good at all. I had the grouper sandwich with some sort of slaw and fried sweet potato chips. The grouper was way over cooked to the point that the sesame’ seeds were burnt... More

My husband and I were looking for a close restaurant to our hotel and after reading reviews thought Niko's would be a good choice. When we entered, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and when my husband my a reference of lack of customers to the hostess, she just smiled and said they were sort of off the beaten... More

I have found that most choices here are very delicious and there tomato soup is unbelievable! But when they miss the mark, they miss bad. Overall, the service, wine list, most meals, and price, give you reason to come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dinning at Niko's and I am happy that I did. I was on a roadtrip that required a stop in Chattanooga and dinner. I looked on the internet and Niko's was one of the first restaurants that popped up. I read the reviews and made a decision to try it out and I love... More

If you plan to visit Nikos please know that the bathrooms do not have any handycap facilities. We took two elderly ladies there for lunch and one could not get up from the bathroom and the other had an accident trying to use the restroom. The food and the service was fine. The dessert was a dissapointment. The biggest problem... More

This meal was perfect. My trout was cooked perfectly as was the lamb. Our server was a wonderful lady who added to our dining experience.
