Nice collection of 40 beers, including locals and some crafts. Hard to decide on an appetizer, chose the trout souffle over the Tennesee quail! and the souffle was excellent, saucy and still steaming hot. Tasted like trout but certainly not fishy. Linda's seafood bisgue was excellent. Entree of coffee crusted duck breast on risotto was done perfectly, even though i'm... More

What a creative menu and very tasty! I enjoyed meeting an old friend at 212. I had never been here and had heard good things about the restaurant. The reviews were correct. The food was very fresh and very creative touches were added. The fruit served was all different pieces of fresh fruit. The salad greens were very fresh and... More

Every time we go to Chatty, we reserve a spot. This time we went for dinner -excellent duck breast and trout souffle. Also great wine selection and mixed drinks. Sunday brunch was also great -the same waiter -Paul. Excellent service, superb food. Veggie plate was my favorite on Sunday -and hungarian mushroom soup.

212 Market Restaurant had it all for us on our recent rip to Chattanooga. It is located right on "The Block" in down town Chattanooga at 212 Market Street. It is right on the same square as the Tennessee Aquarium, which made it an easy walk for lunch. The restaurant is an oasis of excellent food, friendly attentive staff, and... More

If you happen to be staying downtown, like I was at the Courtyard Marriott, this restaurant is literally around the corner. I walked to the restaurant from the hotel and felt safe doing so even in the evening, as there are lots of tourists out and about in that area. The restaurant is a two story, business casual kind of... More

After years of living in the area and cooking for Thanksgiving things have changed and we needed a nice place to eat on Thanksgiving Day. We were so excited to learn that 212 Market would be open! Eating there is now our new Turkey Day tradition! Good area of town, attractive decor, super friendly staff and locally-sourced food cooked to... More

We was staying in Chattanooga for just 1 night and went to 212 Market as I had read other reviews about it and also they have many gluten free options available, we was very impressed by the service and the quality of food served. We sat inside but they had outside seating too and is in the main area of... More

What a great find. Worthy of being in NY city. A very fun menu, modern southern cooking. Try the classics, been here a few times. Anytime I visit, I try to get here. Good job.

Service wasn't great. We sat waiting on things (drinks, ticket, etc). Food was okay, not seasoned very strongly (kind of bland). We had a fish dish and a vegetarian ravioli. It was convenient to the aquarium and offered great parking in a hard to find area.

212 Market was the first restaurant I tried in Chattanooga. They had a lunch menu with the day's specials -- there was something for everyone! My party had dietary restraints (Gluten-free) and our waitress was patient with us through all of our questions. Great food and great service.
