Amazing! Food was great. Service was great. Prices very reasonable. Ate lunch and had spinach salad and split grilled pimento cheese sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato with my sister. She had the fried green tomato salad. All the food was great. The bread while you wait as super. We were so full we had no room for dessert. Plan... More

Uses local and organic vegetables and is prepared very well. I had a lovely chat with the bartender, which I enjoyed since I was there alone. The scallops I ordered were cooked perfectly!

Loved the burger and the trout. Others had quiche and salads and enjoyed them too. Easy to find and free parking

Had a great lunch with friends and family. Nice light menu and wine list, good location downtown by the water front.

On our last visit to the Big Chatt, we were looking for someplace new for Sunday Brunch. As we perused the menu at 212 Market, a couple of elderly ladies were walking in, and sung their praises, extolling the fresh, local ingredients that 212 uses in all of their dishes. They announced it as "the" place to go for Brunch.... More

My wife and I fell upon this place on a visit to Chattanooga while waiting for a trip on the American Queen. Paul, the host and owner (?) was wonderful. We quickly established a relationship through our Tehran connections. The meal was great: swordfish with pumpkin, seafood curry, quail with grits, and a brussels sprouts salad. Will visit again if... Nice atmosphere, almost 80's. Really liked wide selection of food available. Service good not great. I had the best "Old Fashion" I had ever consumed. Would certainly return.

I worked with Sally at 212 Market on a dinner for 45 people during the Head of the Hooch weekend. She was very accommodating when it came to changing our set menu choices, and provided a delicious 3 course meal at a reasonable price per person. The salmon with dill sauce was delicious as well as the 2 pasta dishes... More

If you are looking for the 'place' this it. The appetizers are great. We've tried the cheese table with pecans -awesome! The Bison ribeye melts on your mouth. Kids ate local beef burger on house made bun and pepper cheese. Deserts are criminal, but unless you are very hungry you will not have room... I made room for creme bruileé.... More
