We was staying in Chattanooga for just 1 night and went to 212 Market as I had read other reviews about it and also they have many gluten free options available, we was very impressed by the service and the quality of food served. We sat inside but they had outside seating too and is in the main area of... More

What a great find. Worthy of being in NY city. A very fun menu, modern southern cooking. Try the classics, been here a few times. Anytime I visit, I try to get here. Good job.

Service wasn't great. We sat waiting on things (drinks, ticket, etc). Food was okay, not seasoned very strongly (kind of bland). We had a fish dish and a vegetarian ravioli. It was convenient to the aquarium and offered great parking in a hard to find area.

212 Market was the first restaurant I tried in Chattanooga. They had a lunch menu with the day's specials -- there was something for everyone! My party had dietary restraints (Gluten-free) and our waitress was patient with us through all of our questions. Great food and great service.

We came here tonight - a party of 5 plus an infant. They were finishing up their Saturday night dinner rush where they originally quoted us an hour wait. The ambiance was a little dressier than casual, with the center area open to the upstairs. This created a great atmosphere that would have been very claustrophobic if not. Everyone seemed... More

A nice restaurant with really good food. The spinach chestnut ravioli were really yummy and it is located right in downtown Chattanooga. Very friendly staff as well.

All the adults said their entrees were mediocre at best. My shrimp and grits (suggested by our waiter) was bland. I cannot even figure out how you can make this dish bland and tasteless. The addition of a large mound of canned blackeyed peas on top does not make this southern or original. Our granddaughters curly pasta was an insult... More

None of our traveling party had ever eaten here. The food was carefully prepared and beautifully presented. It was also delicious!! The waitress was friendly, and seemed happy to be there - making our dining that much more enjoyable. Will gladly visit again when I return to Chattanooga.

While visiting Chattanooga over the weekend my wife and I had the pleasure of having lunch at 212 Market Restaurant. We've eaten there many times before when we were living in Chattanooga but have not been back in over two years. The service and food were well up to the standards I've come to expect from this establishment. Our light... More
