When we parked our car en route to see the Chattanooga Choo Choo, we noticed a captivating aroma coming from what we identified as the Brewhaus. After seeing the Choo Choo we stopped in to see if our little dog could be with us on their outside deck. I turned out that the dog was welcome so we gave the... More

The Brewhaus is on our short list of places for a late afternoon or evening out. This is one of the places in Chattanooga to which we frequently bring four friends and family who are visiting from out-of-town. It's great for a couple or small group and there are food choices for the more and less adventurous alike. My favorites... More

The day was cold and blustery so we didn't brave the outdoor, heated, patio. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We even spoke with the owner. The food was very German, well prepared and presented. Some of the dishes I saw were pretty big but ours was manageable.

spaetzel are super, bretzel are soft and tasty, beer selection is large. Home made mustards to die for! Plus gorgeous view on the park next to the river and if up to a little walk, walking only bridge next to it! Very relaxed ambiance.

German beer ... German food ... you like it, then this is spot on. Good, friendly service, interesting and happening spot to meet people. Only thing I'd recommend is that all these creative folk need to do SOMETHING with their outside seating area. Really a mess and on a nice fall day, sitting outside, could be made so much more... Been here many times and always leave satisfied. Decent selection of German food. Food has always been well prepared and tasty. Vegetarian options available. Great beer selection. Staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable. Outdoor seating has a greg view of the riverfront and Coolidge Park area.

Brewhaus is located right next to Chattanooga's Walnut Street Bridge (the walking bridge) and popular Coolidge Park on the North Shore of the Tennessee River. They have wide variety of beers on tap. The food is also excellent and uniquely good. If you sit on the back porch you get to face Coolidge Park, the walking bridge, downtown Chattanooga, and... More

My friend and I got the jäger Snitzel and it wasn't t authentic and gave us both bad indigestion for several hrs. My friend got potatoe salad and it tasted awful. He asked for some spaetzel to replace it and they charged for it ! Beer was good.

First visit. Good selection of German beer. But the food fell way short. The schnitzel was cut too thick, battered, and deep fried. Should be pounded thin, breaded lightly, and pan fried until crispy. Not even close to authentic. Sides were also a disappointment. Can't see going back again.

Friendly staff provides samples and suggestions. Monday 1/2 liter craft draft beers for three dollars is hard to beat.
