Still waiting to get paid for the hours and hours worth of work I put in at this place. It has been almost a year now and this d-bag owner has never once even attempted to pay me. What does a decent human being typically think about someone who does not pay their employees for their time and effort? If... More

Pasta Italia has closed. Location is for sale. Great food but, over priced. You were treated like family by the owner and his wife. I hope they find sucess at their next adventure.

Have eaten here 5-6 times. Food is outstanding but service is lousy and price is ridiculous for amount of food. Always leave hungry Be prepared to spend $80 per person. Also, be sure to ask for price and quantity of food for the specials. Once asked for the pumpkin ravioli and the cost per ravioli ended up at $5 each!... More

This is a very authentic italian restaurant. The pasta is unbelievable. Very rich and very satisfying. I know some have mentioned the portions are small. I guess if you are used to all you can eat olive garden you might be unhappy. But everything is so creamy and rich - I found the modest portions more than satisfying and actually... More

My husband & I had a fantastic meal last night. The service was impeccable! The hostess greeted us while opening the door to the restaurant, then seated us immediately. The waiter brought us warm, delicious bread and the hostess brought the great wheel of cheese. We both ordered specials. I had a pasta sampler, which had 4 different kinds of... More

I will be in Chattanooga this summer and I cannot wait to go to Pasta Italia. I was so very sad when the owners left West Tennessee and moved across the state. Their Collierville, TN restaurant was an absolute favorite. The food is the best Italian I've had and that includes my aunt's gravy, which is saying a lot. I... More

We travel to Italy twice a year for vacation. We have a passion for Italian food and culture. I estimate that we have eaten at over 200 Italian restaurants. Pasta Italia is as good or better than anything we've had in Italy. And it should be. The owners and kitchen staff are all native Italians. How lucky we were to... More

Saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was a bit sceptical based on the mixed reviews. Called and talked to the hostess and decided to give it a try. By far this was the best experience we've ever had for Italian in Chattanooga. We have eaten Italian in New York, Atlanta, San Francisco and a spent a week in Italy...... More

My colleague and I stayed at the Read House on business and found our way to Pasta Italia. It was nicely decorated, quiet, and the food and atmosphere immediately took the stress away. We met both owners, who were terrific people. On our last night in Chattanooga, we decided to go again to Pasta Italia. The owner recommended a sampling... More
