This was my second trip here. The food, both times, has been excellent. I had the curry rigatoni (can't recall the actual name) and others had bolognese, ravioli... It was all good. And, the first time we went, the service was nice too. Today, though, the experience was ruined by the drunk owner. First we observed him sitting with a... More

This was the first time that we have been to this restaurant. We came here for our grown daughter's birthday party with a group of 14. The food and wait staff was very good, but the customer service was absolutely lousy. We had brought a birthday cake to serve after the meal and the waitress took this to the kitchen... More

By far this is one of our favorite, and I think one of the best, Italian Places in Chattanooga. It is located in the "Southern Saddlery" building off of Broad Street near Lookout Mountain and St. Elmo. There are few turns to take to get the entrance because of how Broad St. was built, but it is well worth getting... More

On a friend's recommendation, we tried Boccaccia. What a find! The location is a bit out of the way, but well worth the visit. We started with the Insalata di Spinachi e Arugula - the salad was so large that three of us shared. Fresh baked bread was served for the table. For our main course, we ordered and shared... More

We were pretty unimpressed with Boccacia, despite numerous recommendations. We all had Caesars which were decent despite pallid, unappetizing lettuce. Two of us had pastas, the bolognese and the penne arrabiata. The penne was loaded with pancetta, which was great, but the sauce itself didn't have quite the bite arrabiata should have. The Bolognese was very one note. The only... More

Exquisite, soberb. Pasta made from scratch, high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. Being European, I had hundreds of italian food experiences. Boccacia is on my top 10. Price above average, but well deserved. Service completely personalized, good choice of wines, great foods... Congrats, you are our 1st place gem in Chattanooga...

This place is a bit hard to find if you are a tourist, but VERY well worth the effort. My husband and I both thought the pasta was the best we have had since were in Rome. And the prosciutto e melone was among the best. The service was friendly without being intrusive. We would both highly recommend this place.

I am a local and this is one of my favorite if not my favorite restaurant. I especially like the ravioli but the lasagna is also a favorite. Somehow the noodles just melt in your mouth... very tender. Wine selection is pretty good and they have a variety of offerings. Dessert is good as well and they do a great... More

Boccaccia is always consistent. Have had dinner here many times and tried a variety of dinner entrees. Pastas, veal, lasagna, salads. The menu offers many selections, good bar selection and nice wine choices. It is not a large place, so at times, when they are slammed, service can be a little slower. We always try to go during the week.... More

We were a little surprised at just how good, just how authentic this Italian was, given the Chattanooga location. You/I would not be surprised to find this in NYC, but further afield such as Chattanooga is a very pleasant surprise. The menu is very authentic and the quality of the food excellent; they also have a good selection of wines.... More
