Still awesome after three years

First dined here in Dec 2012 and it was on par with NYC restaurants in Little Italy. Most recently dined here on New Years Eve 2015 and was still thrilled with the quality of their food. The Caesar Salad is probably the best I have ever eaten anywhere. The dressing is definitely homemade. Also... read more

My personal favorite dish is the Involitini Val D'Aosta: chicken breast wrapped with prosciutto ham and fontina cheese with a reduction of balsamic vinegar; served with fettuccini alfredo. Get a reservation because this place is always packed.

We found the ambiance to be quaint though lively when we went on a recent weeknight. Nice first impression. The veal was delicious as were the scallops. The service however was noteworthy in a bad way. Our waiter was unable to provide a cocktail recommendation (and there is no cocktail menu) despite claiming to be able to make everything since... Very good Italian food and service. An excellent Christmas eve dinner. I had the steak with porcinni cream sauce and my wife had the lamb chops. Really good.

After visiting Boccaccia dozens of times we have never been disappointed. The wine selection is excellent, the food is authentic and the service is very good. We find servers knowledgeable and helpful. The best thing about Boccaccia is obviously the food, which is fresh and flavorful - the best Italian in the city. While the decor does not resemble a... We went to this eatery years ago and loved it; then, for some reason, it fell off our radar until a friend reminded me about it, and I am so glad she did. We often celebrate family birthdays there and get the free birthday meal, but it has to be on your birthday or one day before or after for... More

Our ruby falls tour guide recommended this and I'm glad he did! Food was delicious and was good portions. Even though they do not have booster seats, our little one did great and the atmosphere wasn't uncomfortable even amongst the customers. HOWEVER... our waiter was good at first but it took an exceptionally long time to get bread, our drinks... More

Bocaccia in Italian means "trap" which is much more fitting. Decorative string lights hung from the rafters does not transform a basement into an Italian restaurant. This dirty, little, sorry excuse is an offense to any Italian restaurant seeking to rise above the status of an Olive Garden. The food was just OK and the service was just OK. The... More

My fiancée took me to Boccaccia'a for my birthday last night and we had a fantastic experience. We did have reservations and were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. We had an excellent bruschetta and a very good Cesar salad for starters. Our server was pleasant and efficient. My fiancée had the best lasagna she had ever tasted and I... More

I have been here 30 times and have take alive Italians in here and had them rave about the food. This time I took 10 people in, the food came out great, hot, and delicious. By far best real Italian in Chattanooga. Good reasonably priced wine selection. Everyone loved the place. The also brought up a mixed group of appetizers... More
