This place is a bit hard to find if you are a tourist, but VERY well worth the effort. My husband and I both thought the pasta was the best we have had since were in Rome. And the prosciutto e melone was among the best. The service was friendly without being intrusive. We would both highly recommend this place.

I am a local and this is one of my favorite if not my favorite restaurant. I especially like the ravioli but the lasagna is also a favorite. Somehow the noodles just melt in your mouth... very tender. Wine selection is pretty good and they have a variety of offerings. Dessert is good as well and they do a great... More

Boccaccia is always consistent. Have had dinner here many times and tried a variety of dinner entrees. Pastas, veal, lasagna, salads. The menu offers many selections, good bar selection and nice wine choices. It is not a large place, so at times, when they are slammed, service can be a little slower. We always try to go during the week.... More

We were a little surprised at just how good, just how authentic this Italian was, given the Chattanooga location. You/I would not be surprised to find this in NYC, but further afield such as Chattanooga is a very pleasant surprise. The menu is very authentic and the quality of the food excellent; they also have a good selection of wines.... More

This restaurant is owned by a gentleman from Italy. The food tastes like real homemade Italian. I had the homemade angel hair pasta with basil, and it was delicious. Hubby had the special, which was rainbow trout, his favorite, and it was cooked to perfection. This us a small restaurant so recommendations are recommended. The place was full by 7... More

We were so excited to try this place based on previous reviews. We must have gone on an off night. Service painfully slow. Appetizer was amazing, dinner was far from amazing... Out of the wine we ordered, we had waited about 15 minutes just to order it! Not impressed and will not give it another chance...

Oh my goodness! We came here on a recommendation from friends, and were blown away. The menu didn't look that impressive online, but it was some of the best we've had anywhere including NY and Atl. Wait staff was wonderful and attentive, wine pairing were superb and food was stellar. Highly recommend.

My husband & I enjoyed a great meal last night. The warm bread & olive oil was a perfect start. I had the spinach ravioli, that was delicious! My husband had angel hair pasta with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. It was very good also. There were many great choices on the menu, we will definitely continue to eat... More

We rarely eat Italian when we go out of town, but we are so glad we did. The service was great. The salads and bread were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. But the homemade linguini were amazing! Everything else was good, too, but those homemade noodles...wow.
