If you would like to add a little Italiano to your life, Boccaccia Ristorante is the place. When you walk in, you get the feeling of Little Italy, walking back in time to 40 or 50 years ago, maybe Chicago. I can remember some of the Italian restaurants in Omaha back in the 60s that this restaurant reminds me of... More

Upon arriving, we were greeted by the hostess, she was very friendly and kind. She told us it would be just a few minutes, that our table was about ready. The main hostess then entered the front area and she saw another couple, that just walked in and said oh we will seat you immediately, of course, we spoke up... More

My wife and I both will be working through Valentine's Day, so we went to Boccaccia last Saturday night to celebrate our first married Valentine's. Emily did a very nice job of taking our reservation, and we were seated promptly upon our arrival. The restaurant was full and lively. Our server greeted us right away and got our drink and... More

As a first time diner to Boccaccia, I was very impressed with the quality of the food, the level of service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. So nice to know that genuine Italian food can be enjoyed without having to go to a large urban city. The creme brulee is the best I have ever eaten ANYWHERE...

Eat here often. Love the atmosphere a well as food. Make sure you have the caesar salad. Some of the sauces need more salt or garlic, so be sure to request when you order or at least let them know you don't want it bland. Now for the bad- my blood pressure goes up when my wife chooses this place.... More

As a frequent diner to St. John's and the like, we nearly happened upon Boccaccia by accident since it's not clearly visible off Broad St. So glad we did. We've been to Italy and relish in any opportunity to savor similar dishes and homemade appeal. We went to dinner this weekend evening wayyyy earlier than we usually plan to...& still... More

My wife abnd I have always enthusiastically recommend Boccaccia, but can no longer do so. When it is good it is very good, but the quality of the food and service is now inconsistent. During our last visit my wife's Linguine Veneziana (with seafood) featured 4 inedible mussels and overcooked shrimp. We had to send it back. The owners are... More

We have eaten here more than once and, while we do find the food and service normally good and consistent, we did have a recent experience that was quite disturbing. My wife's parents were in town (very elderly) and we wanted to take them out for a nice dinner. We called and made a reservation but - when we showed... More

We've been here several times, and it's ALWAYS been consistently good. It's like good country Italian food with a twist or two. My favorite dish has some curry in it, which you wouldn't normally expect in an Italian place, but wow, it's just a perfect and subtle take on a classic dish. Many other classic Italian dishes are true to... More

We were told 3 separate times by the owner of Boccaccia (once in June, once in August, and once in September) that we would have no cork fee if we had our rehearsal dinner there, as a favor to us as friends and longtime customers. One week before the rehearsal dinner, the owner's wife decided that we were going to... More
