Excellent food

Ate here on our last day based on a recommendation. Well worth it! Wonderful food, well presented. Lentil Patty Melt was excellent, good flavor and consistency. Others had the breakfast burrito which was a thumbs up. The bbq seitan sub was good. Maybe shave the seitan instead of slice it. I like... read more

Vegetarian, vegan, omnivore - it doesn't matter. Just go to Sluggo's. The food is great, they have a good craft beer selection and the prices are right. We stayed in town one night and ate here twice.

We all love us some diners/cafes but vegetarians are often forced to just eat fries, grilled cheeses, and....that's it... The menu here is incredible with a lot of exciting variety. We got too much food, really, but ate nearly every damn bit of it. The buffalo wings were, hands down, the best veg wings Ive ever had. I got a... More

Had the spicy "wings"-$4.95 and DELICIOUS. Also, the ocean dusted seitan with mashed potatoes, salad, cornbread muffin, and greens. $10.99 and SO WORTH IT. My boyfriend had the Reuben plate and I also would have eaten all of that if he had let me (we didn't eat much on the road today, so don't judge me.) We are from NYC... More

When visiting a new city, I always check for veggie places to eat. This place popped up. The inside is a little run down. Descent veggie choices and lots of food fills your plate. The food was mediocre. Nothing to write home about but descent nonetheless.

Our first trip to Chattanooga and we were taken to Sluggo's. Somewhat hesitant to go in because the "look" of the restaurant. The expression "don't judge a book by it's cover" applied. GREAT choices in vegetarian meals! The amount of the servings were large (I couldn't finish my whole meal), the presentation of the meal was very appetizing and VERY... More

Well, I really wanted to like this place, there just aren't that many vegan restaurants around. The place is a dive, it needs a good coat of paint, new furniture, and some artwork that doesn't look like something the cat threw up. The seitan buffalo wings were mushy- the last thing that wings are supposed to be is mushy. The... More

We were there for lunch and found the taste and variety of food available amazingly good. We had burger, and curry bowl. Each was prepared with great care using fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Service was excellent. What else can you ask for? Highly recommended.

We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and had a great meal. Had the black bean the burrito and the sandwich lunch special with carrots, onion, and jalapenos. Food was excellent, but the place is a dive. A perfect place for triple D. to highlight.
