Best fried chicken ever!!!! All I have to say is go there if you want fantastic food. It had a lively atmosphere inside and outside. Just go...TRUST ME. I was so glad I looked at reviews on our way there to find this place.

I really wanted to try this place after all the great reviews. If you are staying downtown it's really not within walking distance of the hotels but it is a quick drive. The place is very funky with blues posters and the toilet seat in front was pretty funny. My husband said the men's room has receipts on the wall... More

Great place to eat. Best chicken I've ever had. This place is a regular for us. Not so great for the cholesterol but worth it

This is a local hangout. It is across from the local college and has a large mix of patrons. There is a large outdoor seating area and they also have tables indoors. If you love Fried Chicken then this is a great place to try. The chicken is juicy and seasoned well.

Although I loved the fried chicken, the sides and sweet tea are amazing as well. The service is excellent. The green beans and potato salad remind me of grandma's.

They do not cook the chicken until you order, and it shows. This is the best fried chicken and the pieces are huge.

This weekend I took a little weekend trip to Chattanooga with my sister, daughter, nieces and grandchildren to visit the Chattanooga Aquarium and I am always in favor of eating in a "hot" local spot that has character and good food. One of my dear friends and church members that recently moved here suggested "Champys" so we were all game.... More

We visited on our trip to Chattanooga, and did the lunch thang. The chicken was very good, the service was prompt and courteous. Which was surprising considering how crowded they were. But you're gonna have to rub wings with folks to be able to enjoy the fare.

I realize I'm in the minority and after so much positive word of mouth, I was prepared to be awestruck by some good old southern fried chicken, but I was sorely disappointed. While the staff was kind and attentive, the food was awful. The chicken was edible and mediocre at best. The sides were disgusting! Soggy slaw and mushy beans... More
