We had an awesome time at Champy's for lunch on 19 DEC 2014. Three of us had the chicken fingers basket and one had the order of tamales. It was certainly worth the wait for hot out-of-the-fryer chicken! We have been here several times before and usually come here for lunch every 2-3 months. We will certainly be back for... More

While our son attended college in Memphis, Gus's became a regular stop for us. We loved the great fried chicken with a kick and missed it after he graduated. Then we found Champy's and it's right in our own backyard. Great chicken, great service. You'll love it.

My wife and I were in Chattanooga shopping at McKay's Books and needed a place to eat. We saw Champy's on tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. Are we ever glad! We loved the laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. We both ordered the Chicken Finger baskets and iced tea. The chicken fingers were large, hot and delicious,... More

Great food, staff and atmosphere. Went with friends and family and had a great time. Usually crowded before and after games.

We were heading for Uncle Larry's, they were closed. Food wasn't that great. Service was ok, nothing to write home about.

Went with a large group of friends to celebrate with a friend in the USN on his first leave at home. I had a couple craft beers on draft and the grilled chicken salad. Next trip I will definitely have the hot tamales!

Champy's located downtown on MLK Blvd and Douglas. Service was fantastic. We started off with fried pickle spears- let them cool down before you bite down- very tasty and good. The chicken tenders are fried to order and plump and juicy. Fries are crispy and average. Breast and wing plate is cooked to a golden crisp and wonderful to eat.... More

My first visit and it was awesome. I had two of the forties and the three piece chicken. I can still taste it, not too greasy and just the right about of breading. A must visit!!

A random fried chicken joint became memorable with its crunchy, delicious, home style cooking. We highly recommend that you visit this restaurant!

Great service but disappointed in chicken and fish both. They weren't bad but not outstanding. Was expecting better given reputation.
