Dessert Heaven

Did not care for our dinner at all, but if you want dessert this is the place to go......32 different cakes, 18 cheesecakes, 9 pies, etc. Something for everyone. We had a slice of Seven Sins ( chocolate ) cake, which was a very nice serving and we were both saying " YUM ".

Took the family out for Sunday Brunch at the Lee Hwy location. Place was packed....everyone had breakfast, the hot food was served hot, cold stuff was cold. We all left satisfied as the portions were ample. One weird thing....they have sausage biscuits with gravy poured over them, opposed to sausage gravy poured over biscuits TIP: If it's cold outside I... More

Loved the delicious country breakfast with ham, eggs, biscuit, grits, hash browns, etc. Friendly staff. Worth the trip!

Dessert...who doesn't like it? Whether eaten after a meal or as a meal, I think most people can agree that there is some magical property in a great dessert. It can be a childhood favorite such as a chocolate chip cookie or brownie, a smooth/creamy slice of you're favorite cheesecake, a mountainous cream pie or a decadent slice of chocolate... More

The best part of staying at the Best Western Heritage Inn, is the convenience and value of the City Cafe Diner right inside the lobby. The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was a good size with a 50's diner feel to it, very clean, and not too noisy even when full. We ate breakfast and dinner here, and... More

Recommended by concierge at our hotel. A little off the beaten path, well worth the trip. Food is excellent, portions huge, staff was awesome. Only wish we lived closer, we'd be regulars. Plan to recommend to all friends that visit the area. This place is definitely worth going out of your way for.

I broke down nearby and while my vehicle was being repaired, spent 6 days at this hotel. 5 of those days I took my meals here. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food, the fast, polite service, and the range of choices. Everything that I ordered was excellent, as far as "savorys" go. The prices... We were staying at the Best Western next door, and we ate here for breakfast. Large portions, delicious, and the biscuits are the best (and largest) I've had in a long time. My husband, who is a big eater, couldn't even finish his meal. Waitress was super nice.

The City Diner has your typical broad diner menu with American sandwiches, "blue plate" dishes, and some Greek and Italian items. Portions are very large, and the ingredients are OK if not stellar. Service has always been competent and prompt for us. On our recent visit, I had the french dip, which was loaded with meat, and my daughter had... More
