We had a large group go for dinner. Asked for separate checks, no problem. Mentioned that we had to be somewhere by a specific time, no problem. I ordered the pot roast and it was amazing. Several others in my group got the fried chicken and they all enjoyed it. The service was fantastic.

A couple of Australians just traveling through on 4th July weekend. Duck Confit …….amazing! Never tried it before but so glad i did. Cocktails perfect!. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Could not fault anything. I have recommended Public House/The Social to a few people already. Well done guys & girls, keep it up and you never know if we... More

We ate lunch here as it was close to our hotel. I ordered an appetizer of fried pickles which also came with pimento cheese - very good! Our meals were grilled and fried chicken and a few vegetable dishes which we shared. Everything is reasonably priced. The service was also excellent. I will go back the next time I'm in... More

I started with the marinated mushroom & goat cheese grilled cheese with a kale salad ($9) this is a very good sandwich. Cheesy, a good chewy bread and the mushrooms are exquisite. I also had the please of eating 1/2 of my daughters pot roast....the best I have ever had!!! It was very tender, flavorful and tender vegetables. Service is... More

I visited the Public House during the weekday for lunch. The interior is quite nice, a rustic modern feel to it. I almost felt under-dressed, until I saw the wait staff looking just as comfortable as I. We were given the option to eat inside or out, and unfortunately chose inside. Once the restaurant became full, talking became an exercise... More

We love this restaurant. My husband thinks their pot roast is the best he's ever eaten. I love the shrimp and grits. Excellent atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

Had lunch here on July 4. It was pretty empty. The space is huge with very cool indoor and outdoor seating in the main restaurant and in the bar area. Both main restaurant and bar are very cool just depends on what type of ambiance you are looking for. We wanted to watch the game so sat at the bar.... More

I am new to the South, but the grits were fabulous. The pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection and I walked out a happy woman. Server was one of the best I have had in awhile. Worth the stop. A little harder to find since the address contains several businesses. Follow the signs for warehouse row parking at it is... More

When in Chattanooga (a couple times a year), I can't wait to eat here (I try to schedule as many meals here as possible). Terrific owners, good service, and the freshest food. Great side-orders e.g. cooked beets with bits of goats cheese. My wife and I often now order a number of side dishes then add a bit of grilled... More

My wife and I walked by this place and stopped in for some drinks and live music. What a great place for both! Great date night locale!
