Valentines Day - the only times available for those of us who waited until the first of February to reserve a table were later in the evening - thoughts of mass confusion, long waits even with a reservation, harried wait staff ready to go home - I could hardly wait for the evening to arrive. My apprehension quickly began to... More

My wife and I decided to beat the crowds and have Valentine's Day lunch. A nearby restaurant had over a 1 hour wait. We walked into Public House without a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was attentive and well informed about their menu. I had the fish special (red fish) with dirty rice and squash. All very tasty.... More

If you live in Chattanooga and have never eaten lunch at Public House, you're missing something great! My wife and I have eaten here many times for both lunch and dinner, and we have greatly enjoyed every visit. But today, when I took my brother here for lunch (his first visit to Public House), I was reminded of something I... More

The food at Public House was out of this world. The homemade desserts made coming back night after night a must. A must eat at in Chattanooga.

This restaurant gets good reviews, has a wonderful looking menu, and is kind of a Husk wannabe, so we gave it a try. We liked the dining space and decor....light, minimalist, high ceilings, with several rooms winding in from the door, plus a outdoor space for when the weather is nice. The menu has starters, a bunch of great sounding... More

A family member was visiting from Texas. This is an elegant restaurant. The shrimp & grits special was ordered by three of us...the other two ordered the trout. Each dish was excellent.Parking tickets were stamped by restaurant(Warehouse Row parking lot).

The Public House is unpretentious as a full service restaurant with a very good menu. The atmosphere is such that a coat-and-tie or blue jeans and a collared shirt would not be out of place. The food is good and fairly priced and the service is friendly and reasonably efficient. It is located a bit out of the downtown area... More

we have to agree with the previous 'foodie' experience. The food is rather bland. we went for my wife's birthday celebration. her mac and cheese was so cold you could not cut through the cheese topping. the squash puree had no seasoning. pot roast was a very small serving, less than three ounces. the fried chicken was done correctly, so...
