Freshest food in Chattanooga

This place is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Often times you sit with strangers as there are several family style tables lining the walls. The eclectic group of patrons makes it so much fun and the food really drives home the win. Everything is made with such care it is... read more

Stopped in for lunch- busy but had space at the counter. Daily special of combo of turkey bacon club was delicious as was the navy bean soup. Also had the smoked salmon salad. It looked beautiful with the baby greens; orange and red tomatoes; yellow, red, orange, and green peppers, smoked salmon and cheese AND it tasted as good as... More

The reviews for this place were great but I was not as impressed. The waitress was not attentive. The food was average. We had French toast, pancakes, bacon, biscuits and scrambled eggs. The pancakes tasted like bisquick, I could make at home. Nothing great about the French toast. Best thing about the meal was the bacon. We stayed at the... More

One of, if not THE best breakfast place in Chattanooga. Great variety. Family owned. Local and fresh. Great herbed cream cheese omelet.

I took my visitor to lunch at Bluegrass because I felt he would enjoy this experience as part of his first time in Chattanooga. We were not disappointed. He chose the lunch special....I had one of the specialty breakfast items. The food was excellent. Our visitor also enjoyed visiting the Southside.

There is always a wait here but it is worth it. This is a big local destination in a trendy part of town. It is located in Southside close to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo and open for breakfast and lunch. Everything they serve is delicious.

Went here with my family and college age daughter and her friend. Prices are reasonable. Food is delicious! I ordered the corned beef hash with diced potatoes (a side of fruit comes with it ie. watermelon slice, grapes and cantaloupe). She had biscuits and gravy (so southern Lol!) It's not a very big place but very cozy. The waiters are... More

This is a family owned and operated business where the food appears to be prepared with care as their reputation is on the line. Sometimes the line is a little daunting, but it is worth the wait.
