The wait was short and the rewards were plentiful. The special French toast casserole with fresh blueberries and peaches was awesome and lucky for our party, we got the last two. Service is polite and friendly and you can tell that the family that runs this place cares what the tourists and the regulars think about their place. Chattanooga is... More

We were holidaying in the Southern States and had the misfortune to stay at the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel with a terrible breakfast on our first morning. The next day we found the wonderful Bluegrass Grill. Obviously very popular with the locals, we were served a tremendous breakfast with a terrific choice of breads, fruit and cooked food at a... We've eaten here twice and the staff is always friendly and the food consistently good. Arrive early for breakfast or be prepared to wait in a line that goes outside the door. The establishment is small and can get noisy, but they do a good job moving the food along at a good pace.

Husband and I stopped in here for breakfast one Saturday on a weekend trip to Chattanooga. There was a small line formed already, but the staff was fast and friendly, and got every waiting seated fairly quickly. We opted for a couple of seats at the bar as we enjoy watching the kitchen staff at restaurants for fun! My husband... More

Family had breakfast. Went about 8:30 and walked right in. Line did form while we were there. Daughter ordered ham and cheese omelet and liked it. Wife had Greek frittata and I had Smoked salmon frittata. Both were good. Herbed cream cheese on salmon frittata was a bit much though. Biscuits were nice and big and really good. Would eat... More

I had breakfast with my oldest son who lives & works in France...along with my daughter & a good friend. This restaurant specializes in creative breakfast choices along with giant biscuits & good hash browns. It is always busy for good reason. Try It Out!!

This place opens at 6:30 AM most days. If you get there during brunch please have plenty of time to wait. While the food is excellent, word has gotten around and if you are trying to sight see you may end up spending too much time in line. Once you are seated it takes about 20 minutes to get your... Was glad this was down the street from Chattanooga Choo-Choo hotel. Walk there and had a little wait for breakfast. Note, this is a small place with a lot of character and there may be a wait time... Noticed that locals where eating there also. Great breakfast and selection. Good quality and quantity of food. Busy but very nice servers.... More

LOVED IT ALL, even after almost an hour or more wait! Worth it. Cute little setting (hence the wait time), also worse probably because there was a race that morning and we got off to a late start. Had some Raspberry chocolate stuffed french toast that was to die for, sort of felt like dessert.
