Family owned and operated... and busy! Sign says stand in line and watch for an open table and that is what you do. The busboy is dressed in jeans and a button down shirt with a baseball cap and shaggy hair. Owner, Joan Marie is a jewel as she waitresses and caters to her patrons. We wanted to take her... More

We were brought here for breakfast by some locals. It's in a wonderful old brick building in that part of downtown which is slowly being brought back to its former glory, near the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo. The restaurant is not that big, so you can expect a wait during peak hours. We had a wonderful breakfast this morning. I... More

I usually hate eating breakfast, but when it's at Bluegrass Grill then breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! Delicious omelets and prompt service once you get a table!

This was a great find! We had a very tasty breakfast. And the atmosphere was very nice and friendly. Parking was easier than I thought it would be.

It was a charming bristro setting and the food and service was enjoyable. We actually had a wedding event here and were in a private room..

I'm not typically a breakfast fan, but I love the breakfast options at Bluegrass Grill. Great place with a great background story. This place is always packed with folks inside and outside.

The wait was short and the rewards were plentiful. The special French toast casserole with fresh blueberries and peaches was awesome and lucky for our party, we got the last two. Service is polite and friendly and you can tell that the family that runs this place cares what the tourists and the regulars think about their place. Chattanooga is... More

We were holidaying in the Southern States and had the misfortune to stay at the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel with a terrible breakfast on our first morning. The next day we found the wonderful Bluegrass Grill. Obviously very popular with the locals, we were served a tremendous breakfast with a terrific choice of breads, fruit and cooked food at a... We've eaten here twice and the staff is always friendly and the food consistently good. Arrive early for breakfast or be prepared to wait in a line that goes outside the door. The establishment is small and can get noisy, but they do a good job moving the food along at a good pace.
