We had dinner at Alleia as a going way for a co-worker. We ate in the bar because the guest of honor felt the bar was cozier. She was right. One of the bartenders was our waiter. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. He continually checked on us, made great drinks, offered suggestions. We wanted for nothing! The food... More

I have eaten in NYC. Europe. West coast. Blah blah blah. This place is difficult to match and impossible to beat. They are my standard for quality of restaurant food. Service can be trying at times because of the snooty clientele and servers, but the people in the kitchen are chefs. They literally make the pasta by hand each day.... More

Food was cold when I got it. My drink was empty a lot. Did I want another glass of wine? Yes. Was I offered one? No. In fairness, we had a large party, but the service was SLOW. Food was pretty to look at, and was probably good when it was hot. Maybe the restaurant is better for couples or... More

Urban chic has arrived in Chattanooga! We recently joined friends for a wonderful evening meal at Alleia and couldn't have been more pleased. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was excellent. The staff, while very professional, is not pretentious nor condescending like many chic bistros/restaurants. Like many restaurants, the interior can be pretty noisy, so if you are looking... More

We were in Chattanooga for a day and had a nice dinner here. We had the bacon wrapped dates and arrancini to start. Both were amazing. I had the mushroom ravioli and the broth it had was so fresh and tasty with garlic and herbs. Very good italian dinner. The decor was beautiful as well

The quality of food is quite high. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The dishes are interesting without being bizarre.

A compact and thoughtful menu of interesting courses. Attentive but not obtrusive servers. Beverages to fortify and refresh the adult palate. Hipster décor that doesn't try too hard. The trout served over braised swiss chard with pureed beet was prepared and served "just right". The salad was big enough for two to split and the server did so graciously. The... More

My girlfriend and I dine around Chattanooga and we tried Alleia. The atmosphere is nice, the food was fantastic. I ordered the Quail breast & my girlfriend ordered the Benton's Bacon pizza so we could share. The service was friendly however I didn't know who my server was, servers were attentive yet they felt a little "pushy" if that makes... More

Located on Main Street, this is a very popular place. Parking is limited but they offer valet. The converted warehouse has exposed brick walls and rough cut timbers for décor, with large gas lamps for lighting. Both the food and the service was outstanding. We started with salads of beets and local lettuce. My wife ordered the gnocchi with pork... More

We had a great booth with a view of the kitchen and pizza oven...so we had to order pizza and it was terrific. The atmosphere is really cool with a mix of old architecture, modern and artistic touches, low lighting, candles and interesting music in the background. We had a great server who was attentive but not intrusive. My husband... More
