The orginal Scotties restaurant was where I got my first job at age 14. It was very good and it sure brought back some memories. The waitresses were darlings!

Scottie's is one of those places that every town needs; a small diner where you get the impression (if you're from out of town) that you're one of the few people there who don't know everyone else in the room. The food is excellent (the sliders are far, far better than a couple well-known national chains), and always prepared to... More

My family and I dined here with my parents on a Wednesday. My parents are locals, and eaten at Scottie's many times and really enjoyed. So I thought, sure let's try it. I ordered one of the hamburgers and my husband ordered a chili dog. The hamburgers were so good, the fries were yummy too. My husband said this is... More

whenever I'm up near Caryville riding or hunting, I almost always stop in for some Scotty burgers. classic little square mustard, onion, and pickle burgers off the flat top. Obviously a local favorite, but not immediately noticable to the interstate crowd. Continue on up the mountain past the restaurant for a great view!

When I got to Scottie's, a guy was being served a chilli dog. I didn't see it on the menu and asked the waitress if I should order that or a hamburger. She said the hamburger was a little itty bitty thing and that I should go for the 'dog. For $1.19, it has to be one of the best... More

Have been stopping in this little diner - since the 1970's, and not much has changed. The little Scotty Burgers (Krystal style in the South, White Castles up North) are made right in front of you while you wait at the little counter (total seats maybe 15 stools) on the flat - top. Raised on East Tennessee style Hot Dogs,... More
