Dinner near the track

My husband and I arrived on Tuesday afternoon for the August Nascar race and decided to try Fishtales Pigtales Cafe. The host, waitress and owner/manager (not sure) were all extremely friendly and nice. I had a seafood platter of scallops, catfish nugget, and blue crab cake. My husband had the... read more

Worst "food" I have ever had. They didn't have anything for the kids to eat even though I specifically ask first. Though my son didn't even eat one bite, they still charged us. There were maybe 8 items on the "buffet". The picture is of when we were done.

We were looking for a fabulous dessert for a family gathering, & decided to try Fishtales. I love their desserts in the restaurant, but had never ordered a whole one. Because we decided to do this at the last minute on a holiday weekend, the girl told us what was in the freezer. She gave me the selection & I... More

So disgusting. Scallops were not cooked, server never came back to check on us after she delivered the food. We had to flag her down, she said she would send the manager so we waited and waited, finally got up to go see what was going on, they said the owner is coming so we waited and waited. When he... Food was mediocre, some of it was actually cold. Service was OK, nothing special. On top of it all, floor was extremely sticky thought entire restaurant. Needed a good mopping, bathrooms as well. Might try again if around track, but I doubt it.

Service here has always been really good but the food quality has gone downhill. When they first opened up all the food was excellent. We would visit here atleast once a week. Once they started their buffet, the quality was awful! Chicken was always burnt, fish was never cooked through and the salad was always brown or wilted. After so... More

My mother and I went on Friday May 16th, 2014. We got there by 12:15pm right in what should have been the Lunch hour to make sure we didn't the "leftovers" at a later hour. There was no lettuce or little else to make a salad. The mother said the corn tasted like it was straight out of a can.... More

The atmosphere is dated; it feels like it was last decorated in the 1950s. It is a huge restaurant, but surprisingly hardly anyone was there for Sunday night dinner. The food is good and served in large quantities. The entree comes with a big salad, plus a side. My scallops were bland and luke warm, and my veggie kebabs were... More

A good find Bristol! Hush puppies were very good! Hubby LOVED the Catfish! The jumbo fried shrimp were done well. Like the fried corn on the cob!
