I am a big fan of Macado's, dating back nearly 30 years to college days. Have been to Bristol location a few times. This time, ordered sandwiches to go. Got home, and found they forgot to include our side items. It would have been too long a drive back to get them, so chalked it up to "needing to check... More

If your destination is downtown Bristol, TN/VA, you couldn't pick a better location. Macado's is right in the middle of the downtown area. The restaurant is large with some outdoor seating (facing State Street). I've enjoyed the sandwiches I've ordered at Macado's. Not the best sandwiches I've had by any stretch of the imagination, but decent non-the-less. Servers are always... More

Went with a small group of friend. Not overly impressed... Slow service. Food was fair. Mostly bar food. And the place was incredibly loud. Small group but couldn't really hear each other over the noise...

So many restaurants to choose from on this main street made it a difficult choice and we opted for Macado's based on the huge menu selection. The chef salad could have fed 3 people; easily 1/2 lb of ham & turkey and another 1/4 lb of cheese to say nothing of the mound of lettuce & various veges. Ranch dressing... More

Sports bar in Bristol. Food menu is very diverse and the quality is average. Service is hit or miss with more misses. The beer selection is just OK, nothing special. Outside seating where all the smokers gather.

Our nieces suggested Macado's and we really enjoyed it. Our servers were friendly and efficient. They specialize in very unique sandwiches. We had nachos with cheese and their potato skins are the best I've ever had Their drink menu was awesome, although I ended up with Sangria mmmmm good.

It was one of the best sandwiches that I have ever had. I ordered the Brooklyn Bridge. It came stuffed with 3 kinds of meat on a warm, toasted French bread. The lettuce and tomato were fresh. As my side I got the potato salad and was surprised to find large pieces of red potatoes and not to much mayo.... More

Macado's on historic state street offers a unique and value oriented menu. Lots of sandwiches to choose from. The food is always good and very consistent here. However the service can, at times, be somewhat slow, although friendly. A nice place for friends to gather for drinks and watch the game too.

We ate a late lunch or early dinner here on a weekend night and had great food and a great time. The sandwiches are custom made - they have a selection to choose from or you can build your own. You also have a choice of breads and sides. There is also a pretty good beer selection. The service was... More
