My wife and I have been to the wild iris twice in the last 6 months and have become fans of this small restaurant. Friendly atmosphere and very good service. We will return.

Better make reservations even during the week. This is a small restaurant that is coveted by us locals. It's cozy and the service is excellent which complements the menu and food. Four of us ate here last week and each had something different and there were NO complaints, only praises for the fish and duck dishes we each had. As... More

This is a small, crowded place, but it was a great little find. The atmosphere is cozy and dark. I read that it was pretty crowded, and we went on a Wednesday night and were easily able to get reservations at 7pm, but it was busy all night. The menu isn't huge, but the food was very good. I loved... More

Small somewhat crowded venue in a strip mall but with an intimate feel and great service. We had an early dinner at 6:30 on a cold night and the restaurant was packed. The food was excellent. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and a pasta dish I sampled was delicious. The wine list is quite adequate. I would recommend the... More

Had lunch - GREAT food and service. No wonder it was packed. Server was attentive although very busy - had a special salmon salad special that was excellent!

Although I've reviewed Wild Iris before and loved it, I just had to compliment the mussels. A large bowl of tender mussels with a buttery seasoned sauce is just perfect for a light dinner for one or a great appetizer to share. My date didn't even care for mussels but loved these! Don't miss their bread and olive oil. I... More

Our first meal here, had 8 p.m. reservations on a rainy Saturday night, place was packed, but an early crowd as there were only a couple of tables occupied when we left around 9:30. Had a comfortable corner table in a smallish restaurant in a strip mall that with art and artistic touches has the feel of a much more... More

We've been dining at Wild Iris for 12 years now. There have been some chef changes, but the food has been consistently good. We've never had a bad meal. The menu rotates favorites and new dishes, and usually has beef, fish, and vegetarian options. Frequently there is at least one Cajun and/or asian option, as well. The one constant is... More

Reservations are highly recommended as it was packed the evening we went! I am not one to write food reviews however, the meal we received here was fabulous and one I thought worth sharing. We started with an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. These are hard to prepare properly but the chef had it down pat! They were perfectly fried,... More

If you are not familiar with the area, it is not the easiest of places to find. The parking lot is small and busy. The portions are small. The décor to dowdy and cheap. The seating is too close together. It is trying too hard to be more than it is. There was only 1 thing on the whole menu... More
