Knowing that we would arrive in Brentwood after 8 hours on the road (it ended up being about 10 hours), I had researched restaurants in Brentwood since that is where we were staying. We chose to go to the Wild Iris. First of all, this place is very, very hard to find; we were so frustrated we almost gave up.... More

Ate here while in the area on business. They have an after work crowd at the bar but the food was good. Will try again when in Brentwood.

We have many favorites restaurants in both Franklin and Brentwood and Wild Iris is definitely one of them. Quaint, romantic, wonderful food, attentive service and a full bar. We always consider it for special occasions due to the intimate atmosphere and creative menu. An easy drive and convenient location just off of I-65 and Old Hickory West in Brentwood.

This is one of our neighborhood restaurants that we frequent and the food is consistently good. The menu is tweaked regularly. I believe I've had just about everything on the menu but I particularly enjoy the salads, mussels, salmon, and chicken. It's a small place in a little strip mall with a small patio out front. Has a decent wine... More

This cozy and delightful restaurant in Brentwood is tucked away off of Franklin Road and has the best of everything! I always have a wonderful lunch or dinner there and with dietary restrictions I can have the chef make adjustments and it always comes out better than I ever imagine!! The servers, staff and chefs make everyone feel welcomed and... More

This is a small place. I'm not sure it takes reservations, but it's a must do! The cuisine in this establishment is A1. I had a glass of white wine and the pecan crusted salmon. Incredible.

The service and timing of our meal was excellent, and the food was good, but for the price we expected more. I had the special of the evening, seared scallops, which was delicious, but my husband's vegetarian pasta dish was bland and lackluster. The wait staff congregated at the bar chatting in between seating and serving customers. They weren't overly... More

When we pulled up to the Wild Iris and noticed it was in a strip-mall, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. But upon entering I was immediately convinced that this was a real good find! Upon entry, it has the feel of a neighborhood restaurant in NYC; not only in the way it looked, but in the... More

This is my mainstay when in this area! Food and service is always excellent! Try the shrimp and grits, bread pudding and the caesar salad!

I've eaten in this place perhaps 50 times but only once in the past two or so years even though I live close by. I was so happy to find the food as consistent as ever. Had lunch with an old friend this week. They started the oil with balsamic and bread service before most everyone else and it is... More
