We had a great meal at Corky's. It was our first visit. We ate an early supper meal. There was no wait. Our waiter was excellent. We had a coupon for a free appetizer. We got the sampler platter. It was a meal in itself. The fried pickles, ribs, sausage and chicken strips were all excellent. Our meals were ribs,... More

Can't wait to come back for songwriters' night on Thursdays at 6 pm then Sundays noon -3 with Sarah Kane. That said we are comparing this to our fave on Memphis . Atmosphere similar, maybe better here with the stage. Onion rings rather than loaf and portion for 1/2 a bit smaller than orig in Memphis. But deepfried to perfection.... More

We only had one day in Nashville and I had not checked out restaurants, but when we saw there was a Corky's in the area, we figured it was a good choice. We arrived for a late lunch and it was mostly empty. I had the pig pen salad with pulled chicken. It was tasty. The salad was fresh and... More

While traveling from Ohio to Florida we stopped in Brentwood to gas up. As it was after lunch time my wife saw Corky's on the other side of the road and suggested we stop there for lunch after we filled up. I was really reluctant to stop as I hadn't checked out restaurants in Brentwood prior to our starting our... More

Travis worked with me putting together 2 meals for 100+ family members at Edwin Warrner park. My main concerns were 1) not having enough food 2) that it would taste like we were having the same meal twice & 3) we would be outside at a park. Travis assured me I had nothing to worry about. Oh my gosh was... More

My family and I travel all over the country and try the food. BBQ in TENN is a must. Corky's in Brentwood is awesome. Yes I know it is a chain - but this place is different. (have tried others) Why? The staff is friendly and when they come out and show and tell you all about the food -... More

The fried corn on the cob was outstanding as well as the meat. The cornbread was so-so, but everything else was wonderful. We ended up having two servers who just graduated from Berklee school of music and we are musicians from Boston, so we had a wonderful chat of what a small world it was.

Group of 25, in and out family style, excellent service, great BBQ. Highly recommended. We were on a tight schedule and they accommodated us in a private room and we were done in 45 minutes. Well done!

Ate here last weekend at the suggestion of an old college friend ... I was in the area for a family celebration, but was taking the time to visit with the friend. He had pointed out that it wouldn't be "like NC barbecue" but I would have been surprised to find anything like Wilber's or Parker's or the Skylight Inn... More

Corky's is a Famous Dave's type of place, so doesn't have that hole in the wall bbq appeal, but is very well done for what it is. The service was perfect, the sides were good and the fried pickles are a must order appetizer. I had the bbq pork dinner with mac and cheese, collards and cornbread. The pork wasn't... More
