Nice Texas BBQ in TN

Coming from Texas I was very interested to try their version of Texas BBQ. First off you have to try the Texas Sushi, sausage wrapped jalapeño with Brisket. It was outstanding. I also tried the queso which was way too thin. The brisket, ribs, and sausage was very good. I would hold it to a lot of... read more

We were on the road for nearly 9 hours, and looking for dining options as we approached our hotel. I found reviews for Judge Bean's BBQ online, so we pulled off the freeway a few exits prior to our hotel to give it a try. The exterior is unassuming, and the interior is casual and open, "well used," and clean.... More

Service was very good, however the BBQ was just OK. My wife and I both had the Brisket. We could not taste the smoke flavor, the sauce had an odd flavor that shouldn't dominate the conversation to try and figure out the spicing, but the meat was very tender. As one reviewer said, it tasted like a great pot roast.... More

I am a BBQ fanatic. I've eaten at a hundred places or more in at least 10 states. I love BBQ. My favorite is Texas BBQ, but I am also impressed with Memphis preps. Not sure what this is. It's good, it's smoky, it's generally tender. I've had every meat they make and it's all good. But nothing made me... More

We ate supper here on a recent trip. The ribs were slow cooked to perfection, meaty and tender. Excellent meats but the BBQ sauce was a little too tangy and vinegary for my southern palate. Service was good and atmosphere was interesting and fun.

We went with a large group and they did a nice job. I had the tamales with brisket and it was delicious. My husband said you could eat the ribs with a fork. There was a ton of food, so plan on leftovers. I'm not a BBQ aficionado, but I liked it. Everyone seemed to really like what they had.... More

This is one of the better barbecue places. I highly recommend the brisket. I did not like the smoked chicken because it was too dried out and tasteless.

This place is small but very good food. My husband loved the salsa they give you, it's kinda spicy but it also has a smokey flavor to it. He also ordered the Texas Jumbo-laya and would recommend it. The employees were friendly and attentive to my two small children (which is always a plus for me).
