After finding the other options totally unappealing, ended up here. Glad to find that it was cheerful, clean, and had reasonable menu options - AND, a salad bar (a welcome thing in South Dakota - where veggies and healthy options in general are hard to find - if you don't want steak, buffalo burgers, fries, etc. at every meal you... I'm usually pretty easy going but this experience was just awful. Only two servers in the restaurant for dinner. Our server must have been new but that doesn't explain how she knew nothing about being a waitress. There should have been a manager or someone there to help her. Some people waited more than 30 minutes to place their order... More

The night we stopped for dinner there was a little bit of chaos as the restaurant was out of propane and expecting a delivery "any minute". The owner and the server were both SUPER apologetic. We were told we could wait or enjoy their homemade pizza. We opted for the pizza, salad bar, and a couple cold beers. The propane... More

Our hotel in Wall, SD referred us to the Red Rock Restaurant and we were very pleased. The service by Robbie was terrific and the Broasted Chicken was to die for. I would highly recommend you visit the Red Rock while in Wall, SD!

You'd think the staff at restaurants next to popular destinations (Badlands, Wall Drug) would be fed up and jaundiced but April and Laurie were very sweet and professional. April was the server who couldn't do enough to make sure I felt welcome, that I got help with the soup and salad bar (even though it was take out) and that... More

It's nothing gourmet, but the facility was clean and the menu options were varied enough and decently priced. We went in the fall and I think there was only one server for the place, not that there was a big rush or wait on our food/service. Server seemed quiet, and not overly friendly, but he wasn't rude or spitting attitude... More

We didn't try the buffalo this time. The broasted chick is A1. Steak was quite good. Real food. Seems to be the best place in town. Loved it

The Manager of this restaurant say my wife and I, provided us with drinks, and then essentially ignored us until we left $6 on the table for our drinks and left. We are easy going and patient when it come to restaurant service but when we arrived it was not busy and as new customers came in the same Manager... More

My husband and I spent a day hiking and exploring the Badlands and my husband had already pre-selected this restaurant based on the decent amount of positive reviews and our desire to eat locally. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman (owner??) and were surprised to see only two occupied tables but it was early in the evening. We received... More
