I read the reviews so I was expecting good pizza, but this pizza was amazing. It was as good as anything I can get in and around Chicago where I live. The traditional sourdough crust is excellent. I ordered the Scarborough Fair pizza, which included red bell peppers, fennel sausage, and pepperoni, and of course parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.... More

On our SD family vacation, we were looking for a lunch stop in Spearfish. Reading all the Dough Trader reviews and seeing the #1 rating, we decided to give it a try. There's a reason why this is the #1 restaurant in Spearfish! We are a family of pizza lovers and live near Chicago. This was better than Chicago-style pizza... More

The pizza tasted great and the prices were very reasonable. 11 people in our party and it was less then $10 per person total.

This was hands down the best pizza I've ever had. I have never given a 5 to anything because there is always room for improvement. Not here. Soooo good and reasonably priced. Awesome

I live in Chicago, so you can imagine I am opinionated about pizza. This was some really good pizza. The crust was one of the best I have had -- perfectly chewy and very tasty. The ingredients were just okay, pedestrian and uninspired compared to the crust. However, you could put anything on that crust and end up with a... More

Food was great, service was great, and the pizza is out of this world definitely flavored very good, cost is around 20 bucks for a pizza, location a little bit hard to find but very well worth it once we found it, you will definitely enjoy this quant little place

This was by far the best place we ate at in our week long travels of the Badlands and Black Hills. Great ambiance, food and local brew. Enjoyed leftover pizza the next day. Spearfish has some great places and a nice break from the burgers you get else where. We enjoyed 2 pizzas with our family of 4 (including 2... More

They have great specials like their strawberry balsamic vinegar bacon and mushroom. We went back for another one three times and on the last visit had to settle for the feta cheese, alfrado, onion, tomato and bacon which was also excellent.

There are few events that are life altering ... your first kiss, a marriage, the birth of a child, winning lottery ticket,... and Dough Trader Pizza! Having shun pizza for the last few years you can only imagine my surprise that the popular belly bloater had morphed into a culinary delight. The crust is light and tasty and once consumed... More

We had a very good dinner pizza and a salad. The restaurant is very nice inside, ( just a little cold). We had a young server that didn't really know the menu. My husband wanted a Coors light, she said they didn't have it. But they have a very good beer menu.
