We were looking for a quick food place, not a chain fast food, and Barbacoas caught our eye. It's like Qdoba's, where you order and they make your Tex-Mex food while you watch. The food was very good and the ingredients were fresh. I don't know if this is a franchise, but I'll watch for it in other cities.

This is a great local restaurant that takes care to be good to customers and offer a quality lunch or dinner. They have a great selection, fresh ingredients and have a love for Spearfish. Highly recommend!

Stopped for lunch at this great little spot in Spearfish. All ingredients are freshly made on site. Not just for burritos but bowls, salads and nachos. Vegetarian options as well. Interior is clean, hip and some great music. We arrived a little on the early side for lunch but it quickly filled up with happy diners. Give it a try!

Seems to be a Chipotle knock off minus the portions. Very skimpy on portions. Chips were stale and very few. Went up to ask for some fresher chips and they said this is the best we have and handed us a bag with about 8 1/2 chips in it. I'd expect more chips for 1.95...... first and last trip to... More

Looking for a good Mexican restaurant while in town. Wow, was I happy we found this place. The selection is very wide. The burritos are made to order right in front of you. The staff is very helpful in answering questions about the different ingredients. The burritos are very big and have great flavor. Will eat here the next time... More

I am a big breakfast burrito person and I wasn't disappointed. I got the steak and egg with extra queso and hot salsa. The eggs were perfectly cooked (not at all rubbery) and the steak was super tender. I will be back tomorrow morning for another one! My cousin had a chicken fajita bowl and she was equally satisfied.

Really good burritos and rice bowls. It's set up a little like a qdoba but much much better. Fresh ingredients and super tasty additions.

I go here pretty regularly for lunch. Barbacoa's is just as good or (I'm sure they like to think) better than the chain restaurants of the same style (you know the ones) I'm strictly a burrito person, but I've tried a wrap and nachos too. Everything is good. Their homemade hot sauces are great if you're a chile head. Get... More

This is kind of like a subway, where you order a burrito, and they add what you want. Be careful, though, they charge an extra $1.00 for most of the items. So be sure to ask how much the extras cost. That being said, it was a huge burrito, and very tasty.
