We love the fish tacos at Jackys. The fish is talapia, is nicely seasoned and served with a creamy cole slaw on fresh tortillas. The flavor is excellent. The plate also includes a side serving of a green sauce, which is good, but not necessary. We each ordered two fish tacos ($4 each). We ordered a side of rice and... More

Stopped here for lunch. We are new to Sioux Falls so first visit to Jacky's. It seems like we've come home... I honestly haven't had Mexican food this good since leaving California. Tacos Pastor were excellent. The savory pork filling was served simply with onion and cilantro garnish and lime wedges. The wife had beef taquitos which were very good,... More

There's no other way to describe dinner at Jacky's, absolutely delicious! Larger portions, reasonably priced, Guatemalan inspired Latin American recipes. If I lived here it definitely would be a local favorite. It's a nice walk from any of the hotels downtown. There is also the water front, shopping and a couple bars or go shopping on the way.

I wish tripadvisor had more than five choices for the rating system, and this place is a good example. It's less than average but not poor. On this scale, a two and a half. Jacky's had very tasty food when it first opened, then it plummeted to bad, and has come back, but still not great. We went back, reluctantly,... More

I went there once to try out this restaurant since it was rated number one on Trip adviser. I wasn't that thrilled. I had shrimp fajitas and I can tell they were just like any fajitas anywhere else. I had a bite of my daughters shrimp wet burrito we have heard so much about. Nothing special they took grilled shrimp... More

We enjoyed large margaritas and the tasty Mexican food. Walking distance from downtown. We will be back for more.

After checking out TripAdvisor reviews (you guys never lead me wrong), we just had to check out this place for lunch....and thank you!!!! Having a hankering for Latin cuisine, Jacky's came through and satisfied in a big way. I had the flauta's and they were exceptional!!! My friend had the wet burrito and said it was very good and filling.... More

My boyfriend and I went to Jacky's while visiting Sioux Falls to find him an apartment since he is moving there. I ordered the authentic Guatemalan dish ( fried plantains, rice and beans, and a chicken coconut soup) it was seriously delicious. As in, over a month later and I still think about it. I use to live in Ecuador... More

Our soccer team was in town for a tournament and this restaurant managed to accommodate all 45 of us in their restaurant on a busy Friday night. They worked hard and managed to feed us all quickly and pretty inexpensively. Most of the dishes were typical Mexican food but there were some seafood dishes with long crab legs sticking right... Stopped in on a whim with craving for Spanish food. They serve Guatemalan, and common Spanish dishes. We shared the wet shrimp burrito and the chicken in coconut cream. They were both excellent!!!! I will definitely eat here again!!!
