Went to Luciano's North on my birthday with my family. There were four of us, and we arrived at 6:00pm. I had an appointment at 7:30 about 10 minutes away from Luciano's, so no problem - or so I thought. The was initially attentive, brought our soft drinks, took our order, and brought our salad's/soup within approximately 5 minutes. Then... More

Will NEVER go back! Tried this place for my bachelorette party as we wanted a nice dinner. Party of 20 and had reservations. Waitress was wonderful. Owner was next to us with a table of 20 friends. We waited over 2 hours and only got our salads. Went to go inquire only to discover no cooking going on in the... More

This place is Sioux Falls best kept secret in the downtown area near the Falls. We think this is by far the best Italian restaurant in Sioux Falls, the food is great and reasonably priced. However the best feature of this place is the wine cellar with great wines at great prices! Great service, great food, great wine and great... More

My family & I went there for lunch today to celebrate my birthday. They open at 11, we walked in at about 11:20 and waited & waited. No customers in the restaurant and no staff in sight, finally the Hostess/waitress/ cleaning lady appeared. The service: She took our drink order and left the table. brought the soda for the kids... We went there on a Friday night for my parents 35th anniversary. It was the worst expereience I have ever had at a resturant. It took 30 mins for the drinks to get ordered, another 30 mins to get the drinks and order our food, and an hour after that to get our food. We sat for 2 hours before... More

The lobster bake was delicious & J. Lohr wine was priced reasonably at $18/bottle. The atmosphere in the historic building was enchanting. The marinara sauce ordered on the side tasted plain & the bread was served cold.

Luciano's wiener schnitzel sandwich was super greasy, but I will say that the lettuce and pretzel bun were nice and fresh. It's the next day and I still have a greasy after taste.... maybe it would be better at the restaurant, but I will let somebody else give it a try.

My wife and I were there for our Wedding anniversary evening out. We hoped for a romantic evening with good food and great bottle of wine. Wow, what a disappointment! When we arrived there was a wedding party out on the terrace/patio, we made our way into the dining room and were told "it might be a while" for a... More

Had a 10 guest group there last Sat night. Bar was out of citrus so no lemon drops. One guest requested several wine, staff could not locate then, he finally went and looked and found one he wanted. Appetizers were possible. Entree's came and I did not get mine for 5-10 minutes after everyone else.(they tried to make up with... More

After reading an ad in the Sioux Falls Argus Leader, we decided to try some of the wines in Ray's Wine Cellar. What an awkward experience! We called ahead to make sure it was open, and they said, " Come on down!". So we did. First of all,we waited at the door for fifteen minutes until a hostess greeted us.... More
