Service was poor. Never got salsa, guacamole or tortillas that supposedly came with the "meal". Meal was cold-asked to have food warmed up & it came back...lukewarm with cold shredded cheese on top. Margarita was good-that's it. Save your money & go to Taco John's.

Was here for lunch between a convention and had a chicken burrito with salsa verde. It was very flavorful and even the refried beans were decent, which I'm not usually a fan of. Their salsas were also good. I'd recommend trying this place if you like mexican! Looks a little shady from the outside area but good stuff inside.

We were in town for the day and remembered we had eaten here a couple of year ago on another trip to Sioux Falls. It was recommended to us by a local the first time. It has very good Tex-Mex food. It was consistently good this time too. Both the chicken and beef brisket tacos and enchiladas were flavorful and... More

Lunch. The shredded beef enchalads were great. I really liked the taste. Endless bowl of chips with a sassy salsa that had a nice hot bite to it. Nothing to overpowering. Green Habanero sauce at the table. The rice was a bit dry and the refried beans were a bit runny for my taste.

I judge a good Mexican restaurant on the enchiladas and refried beans. Puerto Vallarta exceeded expectations on both. They also have good (cheap!) margaritas. My husband ordered #14 on the menu (shrimp, crab, chicken) on the recommendation of our waitress and it was the favorite of everyone at the table.

It isn't fancy...the decor is a bit cheesy but the food and service are excellent. We eat here frequently and often split meals. The Chicken Fajitia Quesidia and Arroz Con Pollo are two of our favorites.

I went here once about 5 years ago, ordered something that had way too much cheese on it, and decided I'd never go back. Then in July I decided to try it again and was surprised. The food was actually really good. I got the chimichanga and thought it was really good. The beans are decent, but I didn't really... More

Not bad, as far as Mexican retaurants go. The service was a little dodgy, but it was pretty busy and we were on holidays, so who cares! Good drink specials and pretty tasty food.

Ordered for office lunch. I have a chimi. It was ok! I would rate Puerto Vallarta much over Taco Bell

Haven't been here for years and now wondering why.... Has the real feel of a Mexican café and staff. Seating is comfortable and seats more than you would expect from the outside. The menu has so many options hard to decide what to get. I did order the large margarita and probably wouldn't again. It wasn't bad but it wasn't... More
