The service at Carnaval was great. All the gauchos were smiling and friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was good, some meats were better than others. Those that were good, were really good. The roasted pineapple was delicious! The atmosphere was very good - energetic, good lighting, spacious. The food on the salad bar left a bit to be desired.... More

I travel extensively for my work and eat in many restaurants throughout the Midwest. One of my favorite places to dine is the Carnaval Brazilian Grill in Sioux Falls, SD. Every time I walk thru the door I am treated to a wonderful dining experience. Friendly smiles, great ambiance, tasteful music all make for an inviting atmosphere in which to... More

It was certainly unique but the food was average. The meat had an odd flavor - not sure if it was old or what was wrong with it.

Not only was the atmosphere, music and food great but we also experienced exceptional service!! Our waitress Cathy was not only sweet but she also introduced me to a wine I've never had before that was amazing. Great romantic experience on my anniversary and the dessert was sooooo good!! we did the rodizio with shrimp and it was very much... More

We've had dinner here twice and brunch once. It is unlike anything in Sioux Falls but far from great food. The food may be authentic to Brazilian food, but does not have very good flavor on the whole in our opinion. Most of the meat is extremely salty which normally suits me fine but this is too much. The brunch... More

We finally went for the first time to experience all that this place had to offer because we heard it was kind of pricey, but we'll be going back more often than we would have ever thought!!! Everything about this place was amazing! The menu selection had a wide variety from salads, pasta, burgers, pizzas, steaks and shrimp. Or you... More

Where do I start? Everything about this place was off the charts. Before you even walk into the restaurant this place has already impressed (the building has this spiral thing going on). The atmosphere is great and the waiters with their outfits are to die for. The food is most amazing. This is the first Brazilian grill that I have... More

we have eaten here >6 times, the mini rodizio is a great value with excellent flavor et. But the roasted pizza with happy hour taps has now made this a favorite post work stop or place to meet friends the patio is great; and we've always had good service; especially from the authentic gauchos.

We spent the night in Sioux Falls, S. Dakota, on our way to Wisconsin for a vacation. We found Carnaval online and it sounded interesting. We were there in the evening and got the full Gaucho meal where the servers bring skewers of several different kinds of meat and poultry to your table, as much as you can eat, and... More

I booked a business meeting on the phone with the hostess... Table for 8, 7:00 pm, Monday, August 30 -- she took the reservation, no problems. Problem: they are closed on Mondays. PS - The Open Table reservation systems does not reflect the Monday closure.
