We arrived late in the evening to the Adoba Hotel and were tired and hungry, so we decided to eat in the hotel's Enigma Restaurant. It has a varied menu with lots of interesting salads. We had kale and spinach with raspberries, blackberries and slivered almonds. We ordered the braised bison which was slow cooked and tender. The wine list... More

I watched the servers use silverware and glasses left after a group leave to reset the table. I do not know how they knew which spoon or fork was used and which ones were not. I could not eat there our second day because I was not sure if it was clean or not. This happened both days. Really gross

We ate at the restaurant the two nights we stayed at the Adoba hotel. We had chicken scallopini the first night and the filet mignon the second. Both meals were beautifully presented and were delicious. We were able to share the meals for a $3.00 extra plate fee because we are not big eaters. The meals were served on two... More

We were staying at the Agoda Hotel (great) and decided to eat in because it was raining. I had lamb chops and my husband had the filet. Both were very well prepared and nicely presented. The staff were attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay and eat here if in Rapid City again (which is likely since it is a... More

Great burger, full of flavor and was way bigger then I was expecting for the price!! I would order that again. My server was super friendly, the place was nice, and I'm stuffed!

We enjoy the quiet atmosphere of Enigma. It's perfect for our 'date night'. On this visit we found the Asparagus Soup to be over salted. We tried the Eggplant Moussaka and felt it really should be listed as a "Deconstructed Eggplant Parmesan." The vegetables where whole and near raw, which was a new experience in eating eggplant. While the accompanying... More

Stopped at this place traveling through town. Seems to be the nicest restaurant in the area. The hotel lobby was filled with tourists, but once you safely arrived in the restaurant it was very nice. Food was very good, wine was too. Nice place - glad we stopped.

Breakfast came with the room, but not a typical complimentary breakfast. The Enigma served omelets made to order with plenty of sides including fruit, juice, bacon and sausages, cereal, breads, etc. I enjoyed it very much.

My wife and I tried enigma on our anniversary for the first time. We were both disappointed. The service and food were both just ok. We don't mind paying for quality but this experience was not worth the cost.
