We have eaten at Minerva's for many years. Tried it again on this visit. The salad bar was very good and had good variety. The food was just average, even though it was "fancy" recipe type meals. The prices are relatively high, especially for the quality of the food now.

Minerva's was close to our hotel, so we headed there for dinner. The food was good , but there were a couple of glitches. Salad bar was pretty large with good offerings, my salmon entree was excellent, but my husband's supposedly lightly breaded walleye was very heavily crusted and overcooked. We had to wait about twenty minutes for his excellent... More

A best kept secret in Rapid City, SD. We were in Rapid City for a week this September and had dinner most evenings in the downtown area as that is the area mentioned in most of the travel guides etc. Our last night we decided to stay closer to our hotel and went to Minerva's. When we arrived I noticed... More

No cross country driving vacation would be complete without a visit to Mt. Rushmore, so we found ourselves staying a couple of days in Rapid City, SD. Based on the recommendation of our hotel, we gave Minevera's a shot for lunch and were pleased far beyond expectations. Rapid City has more than its share of fast food outlets, but if... More

Minerva's has always been known for fine dining in The Dakota's. But the happy hour is also not to be missed. Fine dining or pizza-- decisions, decisions. Don't miss the salad bar!

We ate here on Sept 4, a Thursday. We had a meeting in Rapid City. We ordered the "steak tips" and "filet oscar" along with their cheapest bottle of wine on the menu and were very pleased. The Italian salad that came with the meal was also above our expectations. Our waitress was very friendly taking time to exchange pleasantries... More

Have been here the 3rd time and the salad bar for lunch today was excellent for RC. Many fresh pasta salads, and options to keep you coming back.

Brunch had no bacon or ham. Just some kind of sliced polish sausage. The lunch portion of the buffet had zero beef or pork. The only meat was chicken thighs. There was two fish dishes. One was cod but minimal amounts and it was made with potatoes so not being a fish eater the potatoes were fishy tasting. There was... More
