"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. --Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment every evening during the summer. Enjoy the musical talents of local artists every night in our beer garden in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings. Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and pasta to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.

Great variety of food to choose from!

The food was good. Not the best I've ever had but good. Eat the creme brûlée! The best I have ever had! We went twice while we were there for just that!

Firehouse Brewing does a great job of advertising. The brew pub has a great atmosphere and the service was good BUT. First the food was ok but nothing special. Second the beer was flat and we tried a couple different kinds. Stop by and give it a try but don't set expectations high.

The 100-year-old firehouse is fascinating from an historical perspective, but the restaurant (and bathrooms!) are not particularly clean. The food is mediocre. Most offerings are overloaded with cheese and other fats. Check out the firehouse, but plan to eat elsewhere in the Downtown area.

This is a busy and welcoming restaurant in the heart of downtown. We sat outside (tables on the ground floor inside are bar-style with high stools) and managed to get under cover as the evening was a bit chilly. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was good - nothing fancy, but well-cooked and plenty of it. However the... More

The downtown Rapid City location of this establishment makes it a great place for lunch or dinner dining. The building was an original fire station re purposed for this use. Stocked with casual fare it offers both inside and outside dining areas. They also list many micro brews but only had a select few available on our visit. The food... More

Stopped here based on the decor and the brewing of their own beers. Food was average, nine beers of their own on tap which were mostly good. Service was excellent

Stopped here as I had seen this place on Food Network several years ago with Rachel Ray. I always wanted to stop by. The waiter was a little inexperienced, the setting wass fab, the beer was fantastic, and the artichoke appetizer was splendid. I ordered the fish tacos and was 100% satisfied!

It's a great setting and the decor is snappy. The. Staff was welcoming and you'd think from the crowds that formed, that the food was great. However, don't be deceived by this. I had the brisket and it was awful. You could see where the jockey was hitting it as Rodney Dangerfield would say. It was cold and tough as... More

This restaurant, brew house, winery is housed in an old fire station, and it goes on and on. Arrive early, because it is a popular spot. The brews, wines, sauces, and bakery items are all made in-house. The beer bread was a terrific starter to a great meal. The "Spontaneous Heating" jambalaya was fabulous. One of my companions had a... More

The food was good but it did take a little too long to arrive and the service was sub par.. I recommend the ribs which were not fall off the bone tender but they were meaty and tender. Also, they were not smothered with BBQ sauce so you get to taste the savory flavor of the ribs. We also ordered... More
