"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. --Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment every evening during the summer. Enjoy the musical talents of local artists every night in our beer garden in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings. Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and pasta to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.

Very disappointed

We have been to firehouse many times over the last year and have had pretty good service and food. Yesterday was a Tuesday and we decided to go there for my dinner for my birthday and had the worst waiter ever. Never got his name and he was a smug unfriendly person to us. He had several tables and... read more

Firehouse Brewing is located in the heart of downtown Rapid City. The brewery is located in an old firehouse and keeps much of the look. There is a good amount of seating, and even more in a large outdoor seating area which gets busy in the warmer months. The beer is quite good and the food was satisfactory.

Great restaurant! The food is delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. We will return again! Service was stellar and we had a fun time.

Average food, average beer, average atmosphere. Nothing stands out about this place. Go here if everywhere else has burned down.

I loved that place but it became a drinking hole with poor quality dumb food. I can't believe they turn a perfect brewing restaurant into that - Service is bad unless you order tons of beer....

I figured I could go to Firehouse for a good burger and was pretty disappointed. I ordered the bison burger and it was solidly average. Not the worst, but certainly not worth returning for. Maybe I should go back and give it another shot, but I haven't yet. Decent beer though.

I've ate and drank here on several occasions. I've even done the wine bus tour that they do in the summers. it's a neat place ...little spendy. seems to be where the younger people go to socialize on the weekends. They have a nice gift shop with funny gift items!

Nice atmosphere. Little too crowd for me during summer months. Prefer to visit it on winter months. They have the best beer bread and artichoke dip I have ever sampled! Great service and frienly faces!

The Firehouse is a Rapid City classic with delicious American food and a solid atmosphere. The beers are also quite impressive for a small-scale microbrewery. You won't go wrong with a bison burger and beer here!!

This is a bustling night environment. It caters to good grill food and also some fine entrees. The micro brews are something to take advantage of as well.
