Service was friendly and very prompt. It's a bar so quite noisy. Soup was just okay. My Ruben sandwich was okay, but certainly not up to NY standards. Potato salad was different with bacon on it, but too much mayo. Portion good. Diverse menu so there is a lot to try. Can't say I would rush back if Iived in... More

It is our first night in Rapid City and was told about the Firehouse Brewing Co, about a block away. The place was very busy for a Tuesday night. My wife and I both had hamburgers (mine was Buffalo). Excellent food, great choice of beers and ales and an excellent staff. It was busier than other restaurants in the same... More

Nice atmosphere. We sat outside. Lots of room to stretch out and talk. Have a couple beers and one of the best burgers I've ever had! Giant burger served lots of different ways. Lots of choices! You won't leave hungry! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I visited the Firehouse Brewing Co for bar-side drinks and then for a sit down dinner. I'd certainly come back for drinks, but might give dinner a miss. The bar area is large and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to recommend beers. The choice of beer is good, although many are on the strong side (averaging 5-6%). It'd... More

Great atmosphere, food, beer/ale and customer service. Cannot go wrong with this eatery! Lots of fire service curios & nick-nacks adorn the walls, etc, giving the place a fairly unique style.

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Rapid City. We enjoyed the beers we tried and the food was very good both times. Good atmosphere, and we especially liked the outdoor seating. It was nice to be able to enjoy a decent beer and some good food without being out of place with a 1 year old. Give... More

We stayed in Rapid City for a few nights for surrounding area sight-seeing. We were ready for something to eat but not a full meal. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away. Both bartenders who waited on us throughout the visit were friendly and helpful with the food and beer menu. They offered samples of the home... More

We sort of randomly chose this brew pub in downtown Rapid City. I am sure we could have done better. Service was good and friendly, but that didn't make up for the very mediocre food. My "shredded beef" chimichanga was ground beef, with almost no spice or other flavoring. My wife's salad was pretty plain, and salad dressing not all... More

We were driving from Yellowstone National Park to the Badlands when we saw a billboard for Firehouse Brewing Company. Decided to stop and try it. The restaurant is set in an old firehouse, and still keeps the look and decor. There was outdoor seating - shaded and sun. The atmosphere and ambiance was great. The menu had something for everyone.... More
