Loved the firehouse theme, very well decorated, nice selection of craft beers, fun place. However, the food was lacking pizzazz. The beer cheese soup was the most bland of its kind I've ever had. The black bean burrito needed more cilantro or something to give it some interest. The white chili was good but the burger was very average at... More

We drove from Mount Rushmore to have lunch here based upon a recommendation from a friend, but it was a disappointment. I wouldn’t do it again. Maybe it was an off day, but it wasn’t full and we were placed right next to the kitchen door. The wait person saw us and serviced 2 trips to another table and to... More

This is a large space that is well decorated. The draw is the array of local brews- beers and wines. We had a 50% off an appetizer coupon from our hotel so we order the firecracker caps. (Mushrooms stuffed with crab and smothered in cheese). Decadent- tasty-filling. We followed with a cup of soup (white chicken chili for me). This... More

I liked the atmosphere and the setup. They had live entertainment outside though I ate indoors. Nice firehouse theme. The food was okay, not great, but plenty sufficient. The people were mostly friendly. I'd go there more for the atmosphere than the food itself, but I would go there again if I were visiting.

Interesting atmosphere with firehouse items throughout the restaurant. Mower was good food not so much. My husband ordered chicken fried steak & it was not good. Manager did apologize & took it off the bill Stop by for a beer but go elsewhere to eat

We ate here based on a recommendation from the front desk from our hotel. Typical bar food. A good place to go for a beer with friends but the food was average bar fare. Not that great but satisfying if you had a lot to drink. The outside facade was unique but expected more from the inside. Would not eat... More

No matter what you get, you need to make room for the bread pudding. Or better yet, just start with the pudding and order an entree if you have any room left. Nice area outside to eat and watch the people go by.

After a long day driving, we looked forward to a cold beer and a good meal. We got both at the Firehouse Brewing Co. in Rapid City. We got a selection of 8 different beers (their own) in small glasses. Approximately what amounts to 1½ large beer. The beers were fine - of course depending on taste. The food was... More

I'm in Rapid City for vacation and since both mine and my husband's family are firefighters we decided to try the place out. The staff is nice and at tentative but when we saw the menu the only thing I was interested in was just the plain burger. I figured they couldn't mess that up. When I got my burger... More

Food was delicious, server was friendly and competent. Housed in an old fireshouse that was very cool.
