A group of us enjoyed tasting a flight of eight on-tap ales and bitters. Recommended: grilled tuna tacos with corn tortillas (gently cooked fish, tender tortillas, and not over-laden with fatty goo). Our waitress was new to the trade, but willing to learn. Small ladies' room a bit cozy for Friday night crowds. When that crowded, not easy navigation for... More

Went to taste wine at the new winery, opened in April. Very different from most wineries, as it is in the downtown of Rapid City, and not near vineyards. We were told that the grapes for one of the wines we tasted were grown locally though.. Tasting was $5 for five 1 oz. samples. You were able to choose from... More

Great atmosphere. Poor service. Below average food. Long wait time. The waiter came by and asked us if we were ready 3 times, but left without waiting for our order. We waited about an hour for our food and it came out cold. Beer was warm. After hearing how great this place was, I'm very disappointed.

This restaurant is right on Main Street in Rapid City and offers a lot of outdoor seating. Service is quick and the waitstaff professional and friendly. Food is good and there is a nice selection of beers. We stopped on a thursday night and were delighted to see that the street was closed off and there was something they called... More

Every once in a while it's enjoyable to put away every internet-capable device and blindly try a restaurant while on vacation in a never-before-visited locale. This was not one of those times. Even though the TripAdvisor reviews were mixed, The Firehouse was recommended for dinner by our hotel's front-desk staff as well as our local tour guide. They were 100%... More

It was a Friday afternoon, we got seated right away on the out side deck. the service was good, beer and wine was above average. Had the nacho's, nothing special. pricing was average. they are very family friendly. It is also a very unique set-up, old fire station.

We were last in Rapid City in 2001 and ate here, loved that it was still in business! It's got such charm and style and we had to go back. They didn't have my favorite type of beer on draft but I tried something different. I also went next door to the wine cellar to buy a bottle! The food... More

It was fine. My mashed potatoes were cold. The waitress brought me some hot ones ASAP. I'm picky, but the building could use a scrub down. You can tell that it sees a lot of people all the time...sort of that sticky feeling to everything. My husband's beer was "okay." The kids hardly ate their overcooked food. My burger was... More

Went for lunch with a friend . Haven't seen in years . They sat us upstairs next to a wall . Next to a door . Plants had little tiny bugs . Flying every where . Got into our food . Did not eat my salad . Got the bill . Payed and left . I am sure they have... More
