No longer in business! Tripadvisor should remove this listing. A new restaurant has moved into the space. Looks to be a Middle Eastern cuisine.

I am sad to say that the Corn Exchanged has closed permanently. It was a wonderful place that we enjoyed many times in our 12 years in Rapid City. Good luck MJ.

If you are looking for REAL fine dining look to The Corn Exchange. I have eaten here several times and they serve local products, fresh with a European flair. The Chef is a Nationally recognized chef that travels all over to bring Rapid City the best cheese and food they can offer. Their beef and vegetables are procured locally and... More

Whenever we come to Rapid City, we enjoy returning to The Corn Exchange. The service is consistently excellent and helpful but non-obtrusive. The flavors, well-balanced and delicious. Portion sizes were just right (there's a reason Europeans are typically not overweight) but we certainly didn't go away hungry. I like knowing that the chef cares not only about satisfying the customer's... More

European style fine dining. You are warned to allow about 2 hours for eating so there was none of this bringing a bill when you are half way through your main course before you've decided if you want a pudding or coffee which I find so irritating in the USA. The portions were European size too so we weren't put... More

Nothing really wowed us on the menu. it was a nice meal and desert was very good. What stood out the most was the very friendly service from the staff.

For such a small community, I was quite impressed to experience The Corn Exchange on a Friday night in Rapid City. Fresh local ingredients, combined with creative preparations made the meal a very pleasant end to a very long day. It was my first trip to South Dakota, and was only in town for a night (quick business trip). I... More
