This place has one of the most unique decor of any restaurant i have been to. The menu has something for everyone. I try something different each year and have never been disappointed.

Our guide recommended Sanfords. The place has a huge interior furnished with Americana rescued from flea markets or garage sales. Somehow it works. We had low expectations for the food but it was actually decent-not haute cuisine but it's not that kind of restaurant. The choice of corn or black eye peas were both bad but the salad (all iceberg... More

This place is interesting enough just for the decor. You could spend hours looking at everything on the walls. Too bad the food wasn't as interesting as the decor. Typical bar fare. Huge menu usually indicates they specialize in nothing.

The sizes are immense. The brick of onion rings is a must. Not greasy and very tasty. The chicken dinners were incredible.Ate there twice. The second time I tried their pasta. Still very good but not as good as before. Staff was very helpful and patient as we read their six page menu.

Horrible! Will never be back. Bison burger costs $2 extra bucks and has no taste beside a frozen de-thawed nasty taste. Best friend bought us a $40 Gift Card, but our server wouldn't honor it. She said if it was bought at another location, then we couldn't use. My husband and I did not have cash. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! No where... More

If you can agree on what to eat, share it! If not think about taking the rest home with you! This place is amazing!!!!! Looking at all the items on the menu is only part of what you have to look at. Think Sanford and Sons TV show only clean and much larger! The food is incredible, I had the... More

Fun atmosphere but food is just your average chain restaurant fare. We knew this going in but always have hope. Our waitress was great. Probably won't be back during our stay in Rapid City.

I have stopped in at this Sanford's for about 7 years. It's the same every time. Good food. Friendly staff. Good selection of beer. It's pretty consistent in my opinion. Kind of a college town burger and beer place. But the college kids probably know where to get a cheaper beer and that's okay.

The food was so delicious and stayed hot the entire meal! From the appetizer to the main course, absolutley delicious. Their wing sauce is crazy amazing; mixed in with their spinach & artichoke dip,Wow.
