The prices were okay, a little high. The food was good other than the hash browns being very greasy. My husband couldn't eat them. The service is very good. Coffee is good. I liked the omelets and my husband liked the whole wheat waffle with fruit.

We had lunch there. Great BBQ pork sandwich and French Dip. French dip was a bit salty but good. BBQ pork was excellent and pickled beet slaw outstanding. Service was a tad slow but they were extremely busy. Interesting clientele - all kinds of people to watch.

Dined here three times recently while staying at the Alex Johnson just across the road. Tally's has great, young, staff who are pleasant and efficient. There are good choices in both the breakfast and dinner menus; food is excellent and well-priced. A great choice for visitors and locals alike.

The dinner scored higher here for our party of five than the breakfast which was good, but not special. There was a large effort made for creativity and diversity at dinner and most of it was very successful.

Stayed in Rapid City on the way to Yellowstone from Chicago. Great food, good service. Combinations of flavors were so good and unexpected. Whole wheat oatmeal waffels were the best thing we had but it was all good. The whipped maple butter had Bacon flavor in it - OMG heaven!!

We were able to sit on the sidewalk (limited seating) as it was later in the evening. Adam was our waiter and was very accommodating. He suggested a great wine to pair with our buffalo pasta and the seafood spinach pasta in white wine sauce. We split the meals between couples and had more than plenty. It was fabulous and... More

Let me start by saying we have kids who live in NY, LA and SD and this place is just as good as many of the top places we've eaten there. A local who lives downtown Rapid recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Tasty and well prepared food and w/ local ingredients. Too many places in the area... More

Both the food and service are great at this downtown restaurant. Although I didn't try the truly decadent French toast (with foie gras!) the regular was perfect with excellent maple syrup. I ordered the fresh fruit, which was truly huge with 4 kinds of fruit, mostly berries. Coffee was very good, and I am pretty picky about my coffee! I... More

If you're staying at the Alex Th's hotel it is just right across the street and the service and food are ok. Very good wines and entrees. I will come back.
