Dubbed a "fine diner", Benjamin aims to bring together the worlds of comfort food and fine dining, sophistication and comfort. An atmosphere where cherry pie and foie gras co-exist. Somewhat overrated, but with a few really different items.

We finally made it to Tally's. We had reviewed their menus on line and decide to have a brunch using the breakfast menu. I had the "Smoked Salmon Benedict," which was creative, attractive, and tasty. Probably the best eggs benedict I've ever had. My other half had the "Duck, Duck, Goose", which had... read more

Absolutely amazing breakfast diner food! Whenever I'm back in Rapid, I make it a point to stop in to the Silver Spoon for at least one breakfast. If you're staying at the Alex Johnson, it's right across the street!

We enjoyed this restaurant for the menu alternatives and the unique cuisine, especially in South Dakota. It must one of the only restaurants around that offers foie gras in the morning.

The staff were absolutely great during my 8 PM dinner visit & the atmosphere is very nice as well. Very friendly and efficient wait staff and the place was clean as a pin. I don't doubt that their chef inspired main course dinners are wonderful, as so many Trip Advisor reviews attest. However, I ordered the French Dip sandwich and... More

We came to the Black Hills on a early vacation to see the sites before the tourist season starts. Staying in Hill City, we were a little disappointed in the lack of options for diner and we decided to eat at Tally's based on the reviews from this site. Even after reading the high praise on this site we were... More

We dropped in at Tally's without reservations on a busy Saturday night. We were greeted, welcomed then seated immediately. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. My daughter had soup and sandwich. I had a salad and buffalo burger. Not the best I have ever had but very tasty. We splurged on the S'Mores dessert. It was to die for... More

We ate here as their sister restaurant, one of our favorites,Delmonico Grill is closed for remodeling. I had the Mahi dish and it was out of this world. A Thai/Asian fusion flavor (rich peanut sauce I enjoyed) made this dish a real treat. Served with fresh steamed vegetables and a substantial piece of Mahi-mahi encrusted with sesame and spices made this... More
