Tally's Silver Spoon restaurant is located across the street from The Hotel Alex Johnson where we were staying. The day before, I overheard an airline employee praise the breakfast they were served so my wife and I decided to give them a try. Fantastic service! Demise is incredibly efficient and her recommendations of places to must-see were accurate. I hope... More

Tally's is by far the best breakfast place in Rapid City. The dinner is a little pricy, but breakfast ranges from $6-13. Totally affordable, and they also have the best coffee in town. They brew douwe Egberts which I have constantly tried to find, but I haven't had any luck! They're very busy in the morning, but the staff is... More

Can get crowded at standard meal times. The food is very good and the service is excellent. Prices are very reasonable.

We ate at Tally's on a Monday evening at around 8 pm. The restaurant is more like an upper scale bistro, with a South Dakota twist. We were seated immediately, although the place was fairly busy. Husband and I both got iced tea, but there was a good wine selection, sold by both the glass and the bottle. I ordered... More

Stopped in for brunch. We had a party of 6. We could wait 20 minutes for a table or sit immediately at the community table. We choose the large round community table that already had 3 people sitting at it. This was not a problem at all. Service and food was fantastic. Nice menu to pick from. Breakfast burrito was... I live in Rapid City and this is a great place for breakfast. I like that they have tables outside and that in the summer I can bring my dog. They have some unique menu items, and I have enjoyed their eggs benedict and the special French toast is to die for. The dinner menu is very creative and this... More

We had breakfast twice and dinner twice. The breakfasts were memorable, both for food and service. Dinner not spectacular but still very good. Both were good enough that we came back twice from Hill City (a half hour away) to eat there before and after wandering the downtown shops. I particularly enjoyed the steak and eggs, with steak that was... More

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The fish tacos were cold and greasy. The waitress should be fired for how rude she was. She made rude remarks throughout our meal and was extremely arrogant. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

I've eaten at Tally's several times when visiting family in Rapid City and every meal is delicious. It's always busy, but the service is excellent and friendly.
