A Lasting Impression

It's been over a year and a half (Oct. 2014 to be exact) since dining there while visiting a friend in Rapid City. Hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, though I cannot for the life of me remember exactly what I ate. I can't remember if it was duck or lamb, since I don't eat meat... read more

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends visiting me for the holidays. Salads, apps and wine were superb. And the bison pasta with mushroom blue cheese sauce was absolutely luxurious. One of the best meals I've ever had anywhere. Great atmosphere in a great downtown location. Server was fantastic .

This is definitely one of my favorite places to go for breakfast/brunch. The food is good and not over filling. The perfect amount on your plate. Highly recommend for a Sunday Brunch with friends.

We came out for Girls Night during Restaurant Week. After hearing the name of the special I had to go with it. Indecision sounded perfect for a group that takes forever to decide what it is we all want. Chef's choice on everything for a 3 coarse dinner. It was fabulous. I was jealous that some of the girls, who... More

We are regular visitors to Tally’s for breakfast but this was our first visit as dinner guests. Oh my…why have we waited so long??? Again, it was Rapid City’s first Restaurant Week that was the driving force to get us to dinner. We chose the Indecision Menu (a regular feature on their menu with choices of 2-5 courses). It was,... Downtown RC vibe is excellent lots of great restaurants to choose from. We've been downtown 4 nights in a row and have had excellent experiences everywhere we go. Tonight at Tallys was exceptional. We did not have a reservation though recommended Victoria was our server and suggested the chef's special which was a culinary delight. Must try Tallys as part... More

The best place in Rapid City for breakfast. The food is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. The pancake recipe is beyond compare and you should consider substituting ice cream for butter. Yes, that is an option. If you like to go healthier they have that too !!
