This is apparently the best place in town for a steak. Although not "amazing", we all enjoyed ours. Even the kids had some.

We had a long day of travel and the motel recommended this place to eat. It is an upscale place, no fast food so a little pricier. Excellent wine list, we had prime rib that was cooked excellently. The manager asked us how things were which is a nice touch. Price was comenserate with the dinner, but don't go here... More

Dined here 3 nights in a row while pheasant hunting. Great steaks and prime rib. Will be back next year.

Was really looking forward to eating here after seeing the reviews. Nice ambiance, but service could be improved. Had to ask for basics like to order, bread on the table and never got drink refills. It was pretty empty at the time so shouldn't have been so frustrating. Food was good - not amazing, but certainly good. Hash browns were... More

Reviews we read suggested that we might want to drive the few extra blocks to find Chef Louie's. We didn't have a reservation (after a 700 mile drive), and we just wanted to unwind. We were seated immediately, but apparently got there just in time, as the place filled up (Saturday night). Our waitress was attentive and efficient. Red wine... More

Best place in town. After hunting in the Mitchell area for the last five years, trying most eateries, this is our favorite place for dinner.

Nice atmosphere, great Caesar Salad, and steak cooked to perfection. The menu offered a lot of great choices at reasonable prices.

We spent the night Mitchell on our way out west and had a great dinner at Chef Louie's. The steaks were delicious and so was the shrimp. The serving of hash browns was immense. Would definitely stop there again!
