Service was very slow. Slow to take my order and it took forever to get the turkey plate. The turkey was the pressed type and just ok. The salad bar was only fair.

Been here many times over the last several years. They serve you with a SHOVEL, I swear! Portions are huge! Food quality is usually quite good. I mostly get there late nights, and the food is still excellent. Original owner is now passed away, but they kept his outstanding collection of automotive antiques on display, so that's nice to see... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Days Inn across the street, so Marlins was a quick walk ... and, it was recommended by the desk clerk for having the most choices. Although the restaurant served a number of different dishes to accommodate most anyone, the food was nothing more than average. If you are hungry and simply need a... More

Traveling on I90 through SD doesn't offer that many towns/cities with choices to dine. Mitchell exits offer several including chains and locally owned. We decided to try Marlins and were very glad we did. My husband chose the country fried steak dinner and I had the club sandwich with a salad. My husband was impressed with the quantity and the... The portions were huge and price very reasonable. This was the first time we have eaten there. Their remodel project was complete, and although I don't have anything to compare it to, it appears to be a job well done! Well worth the stop.

This is not your usual truck stop food. We had breakfast and the food was plentiful and affordable. Good service and friendly servers just can't be beat.

The building is under construction, but the restaurant is very clean. There was plenty to eat. The wait staff was friendly. I would eat there again.

Some of the food was great (pot roast) some was lacking (fish and shrimp). The service was great. We were seated right away and our waitress took great care of us.

Waited to be seated and then was brought to a booth fir 4 but we had 5 in our party so we were asked to wait again. Waited at our table a long time before even getting drink orders taken. We asked if we could just order since we were traveling and had already waited so long; waiter seemed annoyed.... More
