We were on a 30 day road trip across the USA. It's amazing how many times you get stuck eating fast food. After a few days, we were craving hot sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy. Fanny Horner's was just the ticket! For 3.99 (senior menu) we had our choice of hot roast beef, turkey or meatloaf sandwich with gravy... More

The bunch of us went to Fannies for breakfast. The service was great. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable and not too loud. I would recommend Fannies to anyone. Plus, the kids liked the name.

Nothing fancy here just good home style cooking with great service. Breakfast is especially good and served all day.

Fanny Horner's is OK for breakfast I have never eaten lunch or dinner their. Its a little rough around the edges and honestly you could cook most of it at home. However, if you don't feel like doing dishes or just want to go out after church on Sunday its not a bad place to go usually its not quite... More

This was my punishment for going against my fellow Trip Advisor collegues. We were originally thinking of going elsewhere and for some inexplicable reason decided to try Fanny Horners. BIG MISTAKE. Service was dreadfully slow. None of the food was "home cooked". It all was instant, heat/re-heat foods. The country fried steak was something out of a school cafeteria. The... More

Loved the service and location. The food was hot and fresh and priced very resonable. We had breakfast for dinner, which really sounded good to us, glad we did.

Fanny Horner's is a mom and pop restaurant with home style cooking. Nothing exciting. Service and pricing are good.

We visited the Fanny Horner Restaurant in Mitchell for the first time. The casual family atmosphere & menu are not fancy and prices are reasonable. We had the meat loaf dinner and the ham & broccoli with cheese sauce on toasted French bread. It was surprisingly good. The turkey barley soup was also very good. They have a senior menu... More

A couple miles down on the left on the same road as the Corn Palace, Fanny Horners serves up a great breakfast late into the morning and fresh pie if you want that for a breakfast dessert (or lunch or dinner, of course). It's your standard American diner fare in a locally owned and operated establishment. One of those great... More
