After a hard day of skiing, this is the place we stop. Warm, friendly, and come-as-you are, it is just down the mountain on the way to the hotel. Staff is friendly, pizza is made fresh and we always leave stuffed. They have a Pacman relic from the 80s, so bring a few quarters for the kids.

We have been loyal customers to Mad Man's Pizza since the first opened. This summer they switched owners and the quality went down a lot. They once again have changed owners and the pasties we had tonight we fantastic. We will be eating here a lot again. The staff was very attentive the new owner came over and made sure... More

We came back from a 12 hour ride to Mt. Rushmore on our motorcycle and wanted something fast and filling and local. Mad Man's had been recommended and so we stopped and ordered a pizza. They don't normally have half orders of cheese sticks, but were willing to accommodate me as i wanted some. The crust was wonderful. Had a... More

Great pizza! Flavorful choices not over run with cheese! Crust done to perfection! Every time I am near the town of Lead, I am going to Mad Manz!

Got into Lead motel late and Pizza Lab couldn't deliver. Mad Man's was fast. Both they and Pizza Lab are homemade style. Beats PH and other factory stuff anytime. Plenty cheese, but sauce not very spicy. That's fixable. Will have to try a meatier one next time.

We were across the street at the Homestake Visitor Center and decided to grab a quick lunch. They offered pizza by the slice. We both got their 'meat lovers' and it was really good. The crust was just right and there was plenty of meat. It wasn't as greasy as many meat special pizzas are. The young lady at the... More

We had the "Everything But Kitchen Sink" Pizza. It was very good and baked long enough for everything to be just tasty! You can tell the handmade crust..which was very nice. If I were to critique one thing, it would be the sauce had more taste up around and under the edge crust. If the sauce is seasoned after it's... More

My kids and I stopped in to have dinner one night. The pizza was average. We liked the toppings and the cheese, they were generous with those. We didn't like the crust or the red sauce on the pizza. These may be personal preferences so many of you might like these two aspects of their pizza.
