Great breakfast! We had fast service and loved the food. We have stopped here every morning for breakfast during our visit to Hill City, and haven't been disappointed yet! The servers were personable and answered our questions about the historical photos they have around the restaurant. Definitely worth the stop!

the server didnt know anything about the food and couldnt answer any questions. I asked for my buffalo burger to be medium rare, not overcooked and it literally came somewhat burnt and dry as leather! I sent it back and they did cook it better the second time round. Chicken fried steak was mediocre. salad bar did not look fresh... More

I ate the breakfast buffet here and it was just not that great. The bacon was barely cooked, the sausage had a bad flavor to it, the gravy was from a package. I had a friend order pancakes off the menu and he said they tasted like cardboard and he did not eat but a few bites before stopping. I... More

Four of us stopped for supper one evening. We were seated within a couple of minutes, from from there it went downhill. The workers were young folks who looked like they weren't given any directions as to how servers should dress and greet people. There was a buffet in the area where we were sitting, so we went to take... More

Tables were readily available, food was scrumptious, and the staff was witty and nice. We ate here every morning to start out our day.

We all had standard eggs & bacon. It was hot and good, and reasonably priced. Can't comment on any other meal.

The owners have done a fabulous job with the updates to the main dining area. We actually had breakfast twice while in town recently ... food was terrific. Service may seem to be slow, but people ought not to be so impatient. I do not think we waited 15 seconds before we had table settings, coffee & water, and maybe... More

Saw the special on the front door and decided the chicken fried steak sounded great and it was. Had the mashed potatoes and green beans with Texas toast! The steak was huge - was served on its own plate! My husband had the bacon cheeseburger which was also very tasty! Glad we stopped here for lunch! I recommend this cafe... More

The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with activities in the area. Food was OK, we ate dinner there and it was so nice to have a salad bar and some vegetables! We didn't find that at a lot of the other restaurants in the area. Nice, quaint little place on the main strip of Hill City.
