We ate here since every restaurant in town shuts down around 8pm! That being said, the staff were super nice, and accommodating. So gold stars for the staff! The food was okay....I had the fried shrimp basket. It was as expected, and my kids had hot dogs. My husband had a burger. This is your standard diner. Nothing fancy and... More

A friend and I stopped by for lunch. The place was packed. We ordered the brisket sandwiches which were good. The brisket was flavorful and tender. The sandwiches had a good amount of brisket. Although we didn't order a milkshake they looked really good.

My husband and I stopped at Route 16 Diner for lunch, Tuesday, Aug 27. I ordered the small 1/3 lb. cheeseburger and had to pay an extra $1.00 for lettuce (1 piece), tomato, pickle and onion. That is what they call "deluxe". Really? The burger lacked seasoning; it was just a piece of meat. My husband ordered the codfish sandwich... More

Ice cream soda came in a pint jar. Had no whipped cream and no cherry. Couldn't finish it because it was not good. The two sundaes were okay but not presented well. The fries were greasy. I would not recommend this restaurant. Was there July 3, 2013

Prices were good and grilled cheese was okay. Staff very friendly and service time good. They looked to have a variety of menu items.

I have been to the diner throughout the years but with the new ownership it is truly amazing! The staff was super friendly and the food was very very good! Very unique items on the menu as well as traditional diner food and pizza.

The calzone is not only HUGE! it was stuffed full of delicious cheese and toppings. It comes to the table served on a pizza paddle... and that is not a mini paddle! This calzone will easily serve two adults or supper, midnight snack and breakfast for one! I really liked the openings in the crust showing off the toppings inside!... More

Stopped in Memorial Day weekend. We were seated indoors and got surrounded by a loud group. After 5 minutes of noise and no waitress, we went oustide to a table. 15+ minutes on the paio and not once were we acknowledged. You might think one of the waitresses could have said they would be with us in a few minutes... More

This place was suggested by one of the guides at Cosmos but it was not a good meal. The atmosphere is a fun 50's diner style but supper was not a memorable event - well actually we will remember it.... Even the rootbeer floats were bad and how does one ruin those? A couple booths over there was a man... More

The food is good, but we go there for the desserts. This is our favorite place for a sweet treat during the Sturgis Rally. The staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The pies are home made right there in the restaurant (try the blueberry warmed with ice cream). Every dessert there that has been fantastic (and we've had... More
