Our hosts at Coyote Blues Village B&B recommended this nearby restaurant. Our experience was so satisfying we ate there 2 nights out of 5. The prime rib was outstanding and perfectly cooked to order. Both evenings we were there it was crowded with not only tourists like ourselves but also with many locals, always a good sign. I was surprised... More

Our Bed and Breakfast host recommended this Inn to us for dinner and it was very very good. Service was beyond good, it was superb. The food was good but the baked potatoes were pretty small and overdone. We each had a drink, they were fine. The strawberry cheesecake was absolutely the best. Nice place that is off the beaten... We ordered a steak. It was good and tender. The sides were just ok. My husbands potato had two large lumps in it so he was able to eat about half of it. Salads are small. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful.

Ate here while staying in nearby B&B. The steaks we ordered were very good. Accompanying salad and potato also flavorful. My wife had a mixed drink, which she says was quite good. This restaurant is out in the boonies away from civilization, so you will have to drive about 15 minutes from Hill City to get here. The restaurant has... More

I was here with a group of 17 people in July 2014. We had heard that they were known for their Prime Rib, so I ordered that. I should let it be know that I'm not much of a steak guy, and I had never had prime rib before so, i figure this would be the best place to start.... More

Great service! Food is good. Just not great. Salad had obviously been sitting out for a while. Veggies tasted microwaved. Lobster was a little dry. Price did not match the food. Perhaps if we had had the Prime Rib specialty we would have been more impressed.

This was the closest place to our B & B to eat so we decided to try it. Meh... I was glad I couldn't see into the kitchen... Made me think of Restaurant Impossible and I could just imagine Robert Irvine turning the place inside out. Outdated, and you would have to be really hungry to enjoy the food. Even... More

The reviews posted several days, "Not Family Friendly" and "Disappointed" were posted by the same party....my father and my sister. I was also upset, but wasn’t going to post until I read the management's reply. I was sitting next to our four year old son during dining at the Horse Creek Inn, and his behavior was excellent. Yet, the hostess... More

It was an ok restaurant, we went with some family who had already been there. They strongly recommended, their special, ribeye. Thinking that it was something that they liked, as well as it being their special, I ordered it. I was very disappointed, however the filet mignon was very good and i highly recommend it!

We didn't order the prime rib for what they are known. We got the chicken and pasta. Flavor of chicken was good, but the meat had a strange consistency--kind of rubbery. Pasta primavera was bland. Waiter Rusty was very friendly and provided good service.
