Great ribs

Stopped in for some take out, service was friendly and quick, ordered some ribs, the portions were big enough for two meals and they were very tasty!

Having eaten at both Alpine Inn and Desperados, we tried Chute Roosters for our third and last night in Hill City. I only wish we had come here first. Extensive menu. Flexible in that they will provide what you want if you want to swap things around. Nice servers who made our cocktails like we do at home (no measuring... More

We decided to try Chute Roosters for lunch since we had never eaten there. My wife and I both had burgers and fries. Waitress was good, very friendly and nice. Burgers were ok, nothing great sand fries were ok, nothing great. I would eat here again.

I have never in my life had to ask that a meal was taken off my bill, but unfortunately, this place had too! We waited over an hour, our food was terrible and the atmosphere as a result was way below average. Not sure what the positive reviews are about because that was NOT our experience. Bummer.

Ate here 2 nights in a row. 1st night on the Patio just before dark. 2nd night in the Dining room. Had a Swiss Mushroom burger both nights. Very tasty Burger. I was impressed! My Daughter had a Fish sandwich that she described as "greasy, but good" she had the Shrimp dinner the next night and it was "good" Fires,... More

This was a place told to us by friends 'not to miss'! However, they visited years ago.... Apparently, they used to allow peanut shells thrown on the floor, and a lively atmosphere. Granted, we visited on a weekday, and the floors are now a linoleum style and there are no peanuts. And we did show up with a 12-yr old....... More

Great place to eat! They even invite you upstairs to look around and their neat decorations while you wait for your food.

Served some good real ales, friendly staff and very hospitable locals, only down side was "I'm from England and they all thought I was from Australia" ;-(

This is a favorite with locals bit I wasn't crazy about it. It is a no frills beer joint that serves burgers and bar food. There is not enough staff so service is slow. Will not be going back.

Our group of 7 came to this restaurant on Friday, July 24, 2015. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was less than half full. I ordered the prime rib special, medium rare. It literally came to me well done, dried out and cold. Another person in our group ordered mac and cheese, but the included garlic bread was not... More
