Very good bar to enjoy a nice drink if you stay at the Best Western Golden Spike" or near by !

Served some good real ales, friendly staff and very hospitable locals, only down side was "I'm from England and they all thought I was from Australia" ;-(

Great place to eat! They even invite you upstairs to look around and their neat decorations while you wait for your food.

This is a favorite with locals bit I wasn't crazy about it. It is a no frills beer joint that serves burgers and bar food. There is not enough staff so service is slow. Will not be going back.

Our group of 7 came to this restaurant on Friday, July 24, 2015. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was less than half full. I ordered the prime rib special, medium rare. It literally came to me well done, dried out and cold. Another person in our group ordered mac and cheese, but the included garlic bread was not... More

We all liked our food. It wasn't anything too spectacular but it was good. The waitress was really nice and a hard worker, we ran in to her later that day at her other job. I would go back, the place has a great atmosphere.

Took a long time to get meal. Husband didn't enjoy his steak. Mine was fine. Received ice cold corn on the cob. Forgot to serve our side salads. Place seemed a bit dirty as well.

The prices are a bit higher than we expected but not horrible. We had prime rib sandwiches & buffalo burgers. The sandwiches were very tasty but not real large quantities. The potato salad was fine. The buffalo burgers came loaded & a good size patty & fries were good. Loved all the antiques & the story of the place. Quite... More

Horrible service and mediocre food. Went in for a beer and some apps with my family. 50 minutes later the food came out. All we got were onion rings, cheese curds, chicken wings...they kept saying they were "slammed" but one waitress was able to sit at the bar and eat a burger. What a waste of money.

Was not certain what to expect as just after we were seated the table next to us left and informed us that they had waited 20 minutes and had not been greeted by a server. The server greeted us in about 5 minutes which is a bit slow but still reasonable. The food was average although the fried shrimp -... More
