Stopped in here while going through Hill City from Custer towards Rapid City on our motorcycle trip due to weather changing for the worst. Nice breakfast with good service from Sarah our server. Reasonable prices, give it a try.

Looks like a really neat place on the outside, pretty plain inside. We were seated and no waitress came. We decided what we wanted and no waitress came. I spoke to a busgirl, asking if there was a waitress working in our area, she said yes, she still never came. 10 minutes after being seated I got up and said... More

Brought a group of Senior adults from fl. (32) set everything up through Josh Ripley, ordered the Grand Reception meal; and it was Grand, Prime Rib was great, as was the Shrimp and Chicken, plenty to eat, service was fantastic, and they even went out of the way to make sure we had Dessert (was not on menu). Thanks Josh... More

We went to this restaurant after a long day sightseeing. I was tired and just wanted a good meal. The restaurant isn't fancy and sorta plain, but the food was great. I had the Tilapila dinner and it was just what I was looking for. Service was just a little slow, but I think there was just one waitress working... More

At dinner. Started with potato skins. Probably should have stopped there. They were huge. Good food. Average prices.

We left the Ramada in Rapid City because the food was so bad and headed here for breakfast. I had eaten here about 4 years ago and it was excellent. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. It was the Slate Creek Grille Special for about $6.99 and it was very good. The waitress was excellent and even... More

Spent three days in the area and this was our go to breakfast choice. All the usual breakfast fare, nicely done, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We sat for an hour as we watched folk that came in half an hour after we ordered our food, get their food, finish and leave. Never received our order and we left, hungry. Very disappointing.

After a horrible start at Mangy Moose, we decided to stick with a local recommendation and went down the street to Slate Creek Grill. It was a good decision. The food was very good. Husband was not a big fan of the steamed green beans, but I didn't mind them. The desserts looked very, very good, but we were so... More

Put in an order to go. We ordered a bacon Cheeseburger (no fries or such) for my husband and a chef salad for myself..... The cheeseburger was SEVERELY overcooked (hockey puck) my husband did not even finish it as it was too tough to chew. My chef salad consisted of lettuce, small amount of shredded cheese, 1 cucumber slice and... More
