Great wine

This winery is very friendly and know their wines. They are easy to get to and have a nice outdoor area. The wines are wonderful and they also sell their wines on site. One of my favorite places while in Hill City.

LOVE the Red Rhubarb wine. Even brought some back with us. The winery room was huge and they had many different choices. They were very accommodating the next morning when we got there before the time of opening to pick up the wine to take home.

Great, if not the best selection of fruit wines. Fresh and generous salads and yummy deserts. Highly recommend.

Excuse me while I enjoy this sweet Apricot wine and type this review. The wine selection is really diverse and they have something for everyone. My personal favorites are the sweet wines and fruit wines. The service was quick and friendly, and the customers are in greats moods as well! Ended up buying two bottles of great wine, the apricot... Here you have the opportunity to taste the wine before you buy. Their Rhubarb wine is excellent and they are known for that one. The lunch, however, was a disappointment and pricey.

My wife and I decided we would try wine tasting for the first time. We chose the Prairie Berry Winery because they were a local wine maker. We absolutely loved it. Our host was so friendly and explained the different wines so well. We had a great time and best of all, their wines are really good. We are not... More

We really stopped to have dinner but the boys didn't find anything on the menu that interested them. So we stayed for the wine tasting which was a lot of fun. We had Bill from Wisconsin as our server and he really made the experience. He really new his wines and has a great life story as well. Thanks again... More

Visited this winery and restaurant on a peak-summer Friday in the heart of the Black Hills tourist area, so it's not surprising it was very busy. But it was a long wait to order -- 15 minutes -- at the counter in the wine-tasting room, as there is no table service. Fortunately, our food was delicious. We had a veggie... More

Thank you so much for including us in your Black Hills adventure! We apologize for the long wait you experienced to place your order with our Kitchen. As you noted, Fridays during the summer are a very busy time for us, and we appreciate your patience as our staff worked to take care of everyone. However, we're happy to hear... More

We got a collection of pizzas, the cheese and the meat trays, bought a bottle of wine and just sat back and enjoyed the evening. Wonderful food and excellent wine. If you get a chance and like asparagus, their flatbread with asparagus and prosciutto was awesome!

A great change of pace (for food AND drink). It feeds a little bit like a Panera Bread--good paninis, soups and salads, no wait staff, you order at the counter and get a buzzer. The wine was pretty good and this place was crowded each time we went passed it until we finally went in. This is a great place... More
