Great wine! Great prices! And very knowledge staff! Even the new girl (Jordan) really did a great job! Obviously a lot of training goes on here and you can tell all the employees take pride in the winery! Beautifully decorated! A must visit when in the area!

we stopped at Prairie Berry winery every time we're in the Black Hills. they have a great wine tasting. Their staff is very informative and knowledgeable. Be sure to try the pear wines, they are a favorite. although I am NOT a beer drinker, there is now a microbrewery immediately next door to the winery. Something for everyone! You will... More

I'm not a big drinker, so two wine tastings in a day is a big day for me. However, I had a wonderful experience at Prairie Berry Winery. My wife has been here several times before, and insisted that we taste the wines, as well as stop for lunch. I was not disappointed in her assessment of things, finding 2... More

Went to Prairie Berry for a girl's outing. The wine tasting was a great experience! We liked it so much we even bought some to take home :) I highly recommend the "Red A$$ Rhubarb"! After we were done tasting, we ordered some food and headed out to the patio. They had a great little band that played while we... More

On our travels through South Dakota, we passed several winery's but this winery was the cutest. We were greeted by a knowledgable employee who let us try the Cranberry wine. It was perfectly paired with a cheese(I forgot the name). I went to get the cheese and put it back when I saw the price. The cheeses were very good,... More

Prairie Berry Winery is a chic establishment. It is compact so if you are interested in sitting for lunch or dinner, it would be best to not arrive during the "high tide" of seating. Much of their seating is outside on the pretty patios. It is a winery, so lunch & dinner are secondary but beautifully done. The menu is... More

Stopped in on our way to Hill City for dinner. As we entered an employee was offering samples of mulled Pumpkin Bog and it was delicious! And no it didn't taste like pumpkin! We enjoyed the free tasting and left with a couple of bottles of wine and some of their mulling spice. The employees were friendly and helpful. We... More

Didn't eat here. Tasted the jams and jellies and they were wonderful. Great wines. The wine tasting: been to several in multiple states. This was one of the best. Very knowledgeable servers Friendly and talkative employees, which helps make the the shopping experience pleasant. Great wine too.

Like the free wine tasting. Bought several bottles. Bought some delicious jelly too and this chocolate bar that had salt in it. I don't remember the name but it came in a blue wrapper. HUNT IT DOWN!

The meals are very overpriced and the food was not good. We had the corned beef, which had meat so tough you felt like you had to saw through it to get a bite, and the ham sandwich. We ended up throwing away probably half of our greasy sandwiches, and left hungry, which at $27 for lunch sandwiches was by... More
