We were told that we could get a sandwich supper at this establishment. The evening was too cool to eat outside, but there was no place to sit down inside. We ended up getting take-out and eating in our cabin-hotel.

The meals are more expensive than typical for the area. We had a mix of spreads; olives and mushroom pizza. With two glasses of wine it came to $50. Still, if you want a higher end meal in a neat environment go there.

We discovered Prairie Berry about 4 years ago, and have been members of their wine club (they are particularly good at the fruity stuff) and we make it a point to stop in every time we are in the area (about twice a year). We have watched the winery grow up, and were delighted by the restaurant addition. The chef... More

A local we ran into at the Everest dinning, told us about this winery. She said it was one of the Best in the area in her opinion. So we went one afternoon - had an AWESOME lunch there. Food was really good. The wine, all local fruit based wine, I didn't care for most of the wine. But there... More

The first woman who was providing our wine sampling was very rude. Once she went on a break the second woman who stepped in was energetic , knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about her job. She made our experience go from terrible to purchasing 6 bottles of wine. The food was ok. The best part was the farmers lunch and dessert. Dessert... More

The curbside appeal here invites weary tourists in and makes one never want to leave. The tastings, the products, the service and the ambience are all pleasant and worth a visit.

We stopped by for the wine tasting, but were delighted to find they served food. I had the roast beef sandwich with a salad. The husband had the Farmer's lunch. Both meals were delicious, which we enjoyed outside on the veranda of the winery. The wine was also very good. We went home with several bottles. A great place to... More

Lovely selection of wines, friendly, knowledgable staff. Try the charcuterie plate for lunch with the Pheasant Reserve wine. Stellar!

I'm giving Prairie Berry one star with the hope that this review might spare other travelers the same disappointment we experienced. We love wineries and we enjoy experiencing highly rated restaurants, so TripAdvisor's #1 ranking of Prairie Berry had us sold from the moment we set out from our Sioux Falls hotel that morning. Actually, I think we targeted Prairie... More

We stopped here for the wine tasting. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed ourselves and took home a new bottle of wine! Also took home some of their cinnamon honey dip....excellent! Did not eat here, although it looked good. Worth the visit!
